Or he could have easily given it to our striker to get off the mark rather than the winger. Its 50-50

Really good that, much better second half, big mentions to Chilwell Jorginho and Havertz, all three excellent.

Great performance great result. Showed resilience and maturity to break down a deep diving bus. 10 goals scored in 4 games in the PL, 17 in 6 overall not a bad return vs all those ultra defensive teams

Delighted with this on many levels.

Firstly we comfortably contained a very dangerous counter attacking side, one that tore United apart at will a couple of weeks back, really wouldn't underestimate that.

Secondly we displayed a ruthless edge we haven't always showed to say the least, Palace really dug in and made it difficult but as soon as they shown an inch we punished them ruthlessly.

And it's good to sign off before the break with a win like this, really wouldn't have wanted to stew on dropped points for a fortnight.

Why? Just because of the conversation rate? It's not like Werner is a terrible penalty taker or like Havertz will convert all his penalties. Moreover, one is gonna be our long term striker and the other isn't even a striker.

Best defensive performance in as long as I can remember and best Jorginho performance in as long as I can remember. He totally bossed it today.

Chilly was amazing. His touch and ball carrying is totally next level to Alonso.

Partnership of Silva & Zouma is easily the best we have. Perfect compliments to each other.

Palace looked good in both their previous PL matches and we literally didn't give them a sniff. Zaha and Eze were invisible.
