Did not play particularly well in the 1st half, but pulisic's brilliance made sure that we went 2-0 up. The first 35 minutes of the 2nd half we were brilliant. After which I thought kova and jorginho were gassed, which is totally understandable. Zouma was immense yet again winning everything In the air. Tomori came into the game in the 2nd half. Kova was absolutely class. 

Pulisic seems to have got back his confidence, and made all the difference. 

All in all, brilliant for the team and now let's make it 8, out of 8.

Weather was horrific getting there but a truly top day.

I think the USP of this team is meritocracy. What if mbappe had a so-so outing against ajax, would frank have been able to drop him for pulisic without an uproar?

I like the Dynamics of this squad. It's a squad of young hard working players with a fair few who have potential to be world class (puli, Cho, maybe Reece) and the rest a tier below ( mount, RLC, Tammy, tomori, Andreas). 

The worst thing that can happen to this squad is ego. I just don't want players with ego here. I am willing to wait 3 years rather than 1, and see this same core win us some big thibgs. That said, if we are able to find gems like Kante, I would love it.

Great victory for the lads away to Burnley, im absolutely delighted for Pulisic, after his great cameo against Ajax, he started against Burnley and he simply ran riot, scoring a perfect hattrick, this lad has got so much quality and great attitude in him, he's only going to improve, he needs to keep working hard and being patient, he has all the attributes to score 20 goals a season. Lamps is doing a tremendous job so far it must be said, the young players are thriving here and the club is going in the right direction, long may it continue pls. What an incredible performance! Except for the last 10 minutes or so when the team showed its inexperience, but it doesn't matter when we score more.  Pulisic with a monster performance, the first perfect hattrick since Drogba ~9 years ago.  Was very pleased with Reece when he came on, did well on both ends. Disappointed with CHO, thought he couldn't do anything right and his introduction coincided with our worst period in the game.

Kovacic and Jorginho, another dominant performance.  What a midfield we have on our hands!

Ohh put a sock in it Dyche, that wasnt a dive ffs.....deflecting his loss onto Odoi's so called dive. Your players were throwing themselves on the floor so often, dirty thugish display everygame, focus on that you bellend. You got your ass handed to you, deal with it. You want proper divers that not only get their way but also dont get punished then look no further than salah mane dele kane and the likes.

I saw his contribution in a post match interview with Puli. It wasn't good and he seemed nervous. He's a lot more at home on CTV where he does better. He's not one of the best but he is usually much better than he looked in that segment.

Christian Pulisic finally got off the mark in the Premier League as he scored a hat-trick at Turf Moor, while Willian was also on target to put Chelsea four goals ahead.
