Poch played Alli all the time as a LW, even though he is even worse at LW than AM. Lucas, who was in the form of his life, just was a sub for him,even though Lucas was the reason Poch reached CL final

No manager is perfect, im just tired of the same BS every game, no improvement, shape all fucked, midfield a gaping hole, organization what is that and on and on it goes. All valid reasons but I will still give him till christmas. FL sure as fuck should know its getting too close for comfort.

Pochettino's first season he conceded one less goal than us last season. Also the second season they didn't win in their first 5 games (which included cocking up a 2 goal lead to Stoke at home) and narrowly won their 6th due to a late winner vs Sunderland.

And on this occasion, he didn't have a previous blueprint of success which according to some is the be all and end all when a manager is struggling a bit.

what people dont realize is that this is not a regular season. its a super condensed corona season. Margins in games will be much narrower, there will be more upsets. This is PL not bundesliga. a lot of lower level teams have fewer games and massiv energy advantages. Every game we will play this season has the chance to being right on the edge. there will be spells were you get dominated. Man City got dominated last matchday. Liverpool got thrashed by villa an dheld today. When you gift you opponent 3 goals you tactics can be the best you are not gonna win.

My problem with Frank is that we're still making the same mistakes as last season, there's no improvement. 

Also, when you spend £230m, you're going to have more pressure and scrutiny. We should be criticising Lampard and how he sets his team up, the decisions he makes. Pochettino didn't spend this that's why it's different situations you're comparing. Chelsea also aren't Tottenham.

Greizman was an anomaly, pretty much every flair player that's played under Simeone regressed to horrendous levels (Lemar, Correa,Felix, Gelson, Carrasco).

Say what you want about Lampard's overall management but he's already above Simeone on that (developing attacking players) regard through Pulisic alone.

I've never felt as resigned after a game as I'm right now. When Southampton equalized I wasn't even mad or sad, since it was something that became typical in recent times, and I don't see anything changing in future. The same way I'm just resigned when I go to twitter official account before every game just to realize Mason Mount is starting another game, while the english press keeps acting as he was the real deal.

People will look at Kepa to find scapegoats, the true is the performance today was dreadful even when the team was winning. Mount and Pulisic both playing out of position were completely useless. The worst part: we all know the did that to fit Mount on the team, it seems Lampard thinks he as other duties other than making the best for Chelsea, I'm afraid he is also concerned about developing players for NT.

I had high hopes for this season and I also thought the criticism towards Lampard in the first games this season were unfair, but what I saw today was just sad, I've never seen a worse performance in years. Lampard's team is lazy, and it's lazy since last season, it lacks energy, it lacks pace, the players seems to be stuck in training session mode.  Lampard can't even make proper changes during the game. Lets get fo facts: in last 5 minutes + injury time the team was playing with 5 defenders (including TWO right backs) against Southampton, and somehow they managed to concede a 3rd goal and spent the last 3 minutes watching Southampton exchanging passes in our own defensive field and Saints even created 2 chances to win the game in the space of 2 minutes. 

Last season when I had to read the press praise the team after defeats (Liverpool beats "impressive" Chelsea) I knew something was wrong, if you are getting praised after losing a game it means you are not a top dog anymore, specially in that case the press were more or less saying (hey, Chelsea didn't get smashed by Liverpool, and they even scored a goal!).

Its also not only about "defence", as I said before the team lacks energy and desire to win, in the game today 3 goals game after individual talent as the team barely created any chances. Of course the english tv direction will focus on Kepa to keep the narrative that Lampard is being let down by individual errors. While thats true at some degree, this doesn't change the fact that the teams biggest problems lies somewhere else.

I don't disagree i'm more arguing the narrative that Pochettino's Spurs success was a clear obvious thing from the get go, it wasn't.

At least Lampard does not pin it to individual errors this time only but concedes that we failed to control the game, invited too much pressure and gave the ball away too often.

I know. Rice made sense for several reasons, even though I also think he is not worth more than 50 million Euros.
Jorgi and Kante double pivot is also not going to work. Sadly, we do not have a no. 6 in our youth that could play that role either.

Lampard has conceded 63 goals in about 43 premier league games with chelsea. That is an absolute disaster. 

Even at Derby the defending was this bad, but we thought his defenders there were poor, that he needed better players. As you can see, with better players in Chelsea, he still flops in defence.

Southampton had more shots, created more chances and dominated us from the 35th minute. It's unacceptable, either he lays out the plan that we are a counter attacking team who concedes possession to even the smallest of teams, or he tells the team to be more controlled in possession. 

These ping pong games he's playing is getting pretty annoying now.
