his treatment by some of our “fans” has been disgusting, especially consider his back to back POTS and that he’s a homegrown talent who loves the club… I would guess it’s mostly weird and disturbed kids trying to be edgy

It's weird enough that people are quick to praise Foden, and discount Mount, although Mount had better stats last season, and then some Chelsea fans criticize Mount because his stats are supposedly not good enough.

It's going to be a big year for Mount. He's going to have his best season yet. Can see it now.

His criticism is OTT but at the same time we need more output from him against the top half of the table. Too much of his stats were inflated by relegation battlers. 

That being said, I too expect a big season from him. Think he and Sterling will form a great partnership.

Hopefully Chillwell returning can also make a difference. Him and Mount have good chemistry.

It is because a lot of people wrote him off as he was coming through the youth ranks because he didn't look like what they thought a modern CM should look like. I mean you literally have some people on this forum saying RLC is better at 'everything' over Mason.

Ever since Sterling arrived he seems to be content with playing second fiddle and play in cruise control.

I'm seeing more involvement from RLC in our general play.

Hope it's just a case of him just warming up. He started last season a little slowly as well.
