Milan 17,957
It was refreshing seeing him (and mostly hearing him) instructing the boys again. I could not notice that in the CS and Burnley game.

Supermonkey92 1,428
Good change of formation to stifle spurs. First five minutes we were actually comfortably in control of the game. Spurs normally swarm us. Allowed us not to get dominated by Wanyama and Dembele. After the defensive shit show last week, strong organisation away to Spurs was key King11Didier and MefiX19

RoyalBlues 4,050
Antonio Conte says he is pleased and wants to thank all his players as they showed great spirit, heart and will to fight. #TOTCHE He says it was not easy to get this result due to the suspensions. The team suffered during the game but were also dangerous. #TOTCHE Conte also thanks the Chelsea fans as the atmosphere was incredible & they tried to push the team on when they were suffering. #TOTCHE Conte calls David Luiz's performance in midfield 'amazing' and says he was a reference point for the rest of the team. #TOTCHE Conte says the motivation of his first game here brought him to an amazing performance despite his lack of fitness. #TOTCHE Conte says he must be satisfied as the team gave him everything today, as they did last season. #TOTCHE Conte says he is not surprised Marcos Alonso contributes so many goals. The wing-backs sometimes must become like strikers. #TOTCHE kellzfresh

manpe 10,861
Took the best possible tactical decisions today imo. Never did I think a midfield two of Kante and one of Luiz/Azpi would work. Instead changed the formation, packed the middle, forced them wide, dealt with crosses, fed from scraps in attack but that was to be expected. Some luck factor in it with that Kane post, but he set up the team to maximize our chances and leave as little as possible to unpredictability. Just a class manager and I would so like to see what he could do with a proper squad. Superblue 6,372
It really felt like his mojo was back today and should be the springboard for our season. In a ridiculous way, such a hard game like this so early in the season was probably what we needed to refocus.
Pizy 18,907
Looks like now Conte will have a bit of a selection headache when it comes to our defense coming up. Andreas & Rüdiger have both been good and Luiz & Azpi are obviously two of the first names on the team sheet. So I wonder who drops out? And then what happens when Captain Cahill returns? We weren't perfect but at least we didn't get overrun in midfield like on so many occasions last season with the 3-4-3. 3-4-3 is fine against the lesser sides but we should look to play 3-5-2 against the big sides, especially away from home. And it would really be nice if we can keep the ball for a sustained period of time! Supermonkey92 and kellzfresh

I agree that 3-5-2 would be better in games like this, also will be interesting how Hazard will cope with the position behind the striker.
