Rudiger signed, because we failed with Bonucci. But he turned out to be an excellent signing it seems.

Tomo 21,037
If he has behaved the way is being reported then he deserves his share of the flak for the the current situation. Klopp and Poch have been "screwed over" by their clubs board aswell but you don't see them going around behaving like school kids.
AlesJuve 264
Seeing yesterday post conference I believe Conte understands that the market is over. He'll have to do another miracle.

Oliver Holt is an off the scale prick who looks like a shit version of Noel Gallagher. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/10986822/conte-causing-unnecessary-issues He just have an unpopular opinion that Chelsea is doing good in transfer window and Conte has no reason to be that unhappy. I agree with all of his points.
Henrique 9,076
Conte did great last season, but Im afraid he is a one trick manager. It seems he relies on 3CB system. Yesterday the team was playing at home against relegation bound Burnley. One CB received red. He replaced one attacking player with another CB. Then besideds the back 3 or 5, we had a mid with Fabregas and Kante plus Willian and Batshuay. The 2nd half was entertaining due to teams fight spirit, bu the final minutes aside, the team never kept Burnley under pressure. We should discuss tatics and football instead of silly talk about the board lacking ambition. Anyone who think the team need to spend more 200m to dont get embarrassed by Burnley should stop writing stuff about football.

Jase 43,476
I swear to god, only we can go from winning the league to experiencing some sort of crisis the following season. Chelsea FC = Hollywood FC.

Chelsea FC = Hollywood FC. We're praised sometimes for being such a well run club and then the times where we have something positive to build upon and squander it. Our club has been run by a bunch of incompetent fools this summer.

Sir Mikel OBE 4,531
Costa interview makes him look a bit bad. Seems like Costa was willing to stay in the end,but conte wouldnt have it. He will have to address the media about this soon.

The lack of signings shouldn't have effected yesterday's match. But you cannot deny the lack of signings moving forward has made next weeks match much more harder than it needed to be. But by bringing on another CB, Conte just gifted Burnley a 2v1 numerical superiority on the wings. It was that decision right there, along with the lost tempers from many players that truly lost us the match. It was no surprise that after he brought Morata on, and shifted to a back 4, that we began to impose ourselves much more. Just look at what City did when they fell to 10 men vs Burnley last season. Kept it as a 4-1-3-1, but their back 4 was much more fluid. It was a back 3 during buildup, but then reverted back to its normal shape once possesion was established. We only did this once Morata was brought on.

Results like that are not coming from lack of quality, but lack of command. Its like the 7-1 result.
whats happening 1,201
you guys think our players are robots or what? you think they are not affected by the state of the club? of course they are. especially the ones who've been through the same shit only two years ago. they see whats going on and what is going to happen if this shit continues. of course it's gonna carry over to the pitch, no matter how professional they are. and im sure they are backing up their manager, you can see that after azpilicueta's and lampards words.
