Popular Post! Jase 43,479 Posted December 29, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted December 29, 2013 Mourinho is in his element today, isn't he?1. Interview bombing Luiz and Hazard after the game and joked that Luiz purposely got the yellow card so that he can go back to Portugal. And when Hazard asked about him going to Belgium, Mourinho said "Southampton".2. When asked of the Eto'o-Suarez penalty incident by Geoff Shreeves, shifted the attention to the Hazard one earlier in the game. And then he said this..Dan Levene @BluesChronicle 1hMourinho calls Suarez' penalty appeal 'an acrobatic swimming pool jump'. 3. More mind games and building the siege mentalityJamie Reid @JamieRfootball 1hJM press conference: "Man City are still favourites. They have strength, age, experience, the four strikers. Very very strong."Classic Mourinho. "Are you trying to put pressure on City by calling them favourites?". With a wry smile: "You think I'm capable of it?" 4. And then this.ChelsTransferGossip @ChelsTransfer 58mJose Mourinho: "There are no Chelsea men on TV. I'll be a pundit when I retire at 75 and I'll defend Chelsea" DDA, daBlackMamba7, francozola and 16 others
Popular Post! Stingray 9,441 Posted December 29, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted December 29, 2013 Support does not equal blind support, that is why when there are problems we need to analyse what's gone wrong to fix it instead of sitting there and say 'too bad guys, nvm, next time we will do better' I know mate. True. But, that is not what you do, really. You go on a doomsday trip and revell in it every time there is a hard game or we played bad. That is very different than just being critical and rational about the team. kellzfresh, hjperdeath, Barbara and 3 others

Barbara 15,149
I said just before the match that it came down to a point where I simply support whatever lineup he brings to the table. He knows those players better than I do and even when I disagree I'll support because I know he has a plan in mind and I just trust his assessment and his tactics.Today he had the team I would have liked to see and I think we played very good, entertaining, effective football. The way this team presses high in the pitch, the way those players are finally buying his ideas and going by them, the way we attack and counter-attack. Everything is coming together very nicely and I guess it's now time to mature those tactics. If the players can carry on performances like that more often and for most part of the 90 minutes like they did today, in all honesty we'll be unplayable against 85% of the teams we face. It's too much pressure we put on the opposition, we seem to surround them and dominate them in a way that they don't know what they fear more, when we have the ball and stars like Hazard, Mata, Lampard, Oscar can make a play or take a shot, or when they have the ball and we have Oscar, Willian, Azpili, Ramires, Luiz, Hazard enclosing them and being a constant threat to their possession either in the second third, or worse, in the attacking third. It's going to be very hard to play against us (and note I'm saying play, not win) because we just don't allow the other team to play. That's how we control those matches, they have their possession basically in the first and second third, while we press high and hard, and we have possession in the second and in the third, also being very effective in the counter. Of course, the team isn't there yet, they're still polishing those tactics, but once they're mature and finished, even if we don't have the most attractive football out there (we'd be very far, far, far away from having ugly football too), we'll have a feared kind of football, the kind that suffocates the opposition and just imposes itself. CAN. NOT. WAIT. Stingray, The Chels, AswinR and 1 other

Fernando 6,590
All this he has done with shifting Mata away from the main team. Amazing! Now we can sell Mata and get some money for a DM or new striker. Cause let's face it, Ba, Eto, and Torres are horrible. Only one good is Lukaku, but Lukaku a lone won't be enough. Tomo 21,751
After the momentul fuck up off the 2010 transfer window and the subsequent season which imo set us back years. We were always going to be for a painful couple of years no matter how much we spent. But now their seems to be genuine light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully it won't be long before we reach the consistency level's of 04-10 once more. Hopefully with Jose here for all off it this time.
Popular Post! Liquidator 5,176 Posted December 29, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted December 29, 2013 Really hope he stays longer than 4 years, he's basically God isn't he. Love how he makes us so hated, I feel the hate for us as a club dropped slightly in the Ancelotti/AVB years but now it's right back at the top. We thrive off it and the 'world against us' feeling.
