José Mourinho to replace God

Ex-Chelsea manager José Mourinho has revealed that he has been offered the position of God and intends to start in the New Year.

“It is big honour for me,” said the prickly Portuguese.

“But is bigger honour for whole of mankind to have Special One in charge. I hope to return human race to former glories.”

Mourinho had been linked with the position of God ever since God resigned following a disappointing 4.5 billion years in charge that saw countless wars, devastating famines, natural disasters, itchy jumpers, and the Transformers film franchise – particularly the second one.

Whilst he won’t be in charge for what is traditionally a tricky Christmas period, Mr Mourinho is expected to be watching closely how the human race performs with a view to making any changes in the New Year.

The news has largely been greeted warmly by fans of the human race.

“Well, it’s a new boss for me, which will be a challenge,” said Pope Francis in response to the appointment.

“But I’m excited to see what a younger man can do, and he’ll certainly have my full support with whatever ideas he tries to introduce.”

Mr Mourinho is expected to do pretty well for a few years and then fall out with the whole of humanity and be replaced by Carlo Ancelotti.

Let's not fool ourselves, he is more in love with English football than he will ever be with Chelsea. He just doesn't strike as that Terry-type legend. Heck, even Lampard and Čech went to play for our rivals.

After Madrid Mourinho could have gone everywhere but he chose to come back to us.

But when things got tough, we showed no loyalty whatsoever and kicked him out, even a dog deserves better, imo.

Mourinho comitted himself to us, he wanted to stay here long-term, yes he made mistakes too but after the dismissal i can't blame the man for going to another English Club.

This isn't the 70s under Clough, or the 90s under Ferguson clubs don't operate like that anymore. It's laughable to think Mourinho, or any manager come to that is solely responsible for ins and outs nowadays.

A Mourinho player is, for me all about personality and desire. Look at the great sides he had here and at Inter and Porto and the top players who gave everything to win.

Not getting the ones he wanted in the Summer, the board or Abramovich getting rid of Cech...and then non-application from the remainder of the title winners for whatever reason brought out the Hitler in the bunker mentality.Hazard at Leicester, as an example, was the antithesis of what a Mourinho player is. Talent means little without application and hunger

Dont mind them for kids as mementos when playing European teams...but never for other English clubs and never ever worn at matches...kid or not.
