Until a quality striker is introduced into the starting XI, or Sturridge gets his game up and scores on a regular basis, then Torres it is. I have mixed emotions for the bloke. Frustrated yes, but it's not AS simple as "getting rid of". Que all the hate from the pro's explaining how I'm wrong.... NOW.

its been close to almost 2 years now. we have tried everythin for this guy. made him play on the wing(dint work), benched drogba for him(dint work), brought players to support his kinda play(is not working). i would hate to see 2 of the best young talents in the world failing because we just could not let go of nando in the hope that he would deliver something for us.

DD is a legend now...the first two seasons with Chelsea he was BAD. Yes he was a upgraded version of Heskey add to that his diving, sulking, and clashes with Chelsea Fans. I remember tht fluke backheel goal against Arsenal after which he went straight to the Chelsea fans and said something cus they were on his back all the time.

You cant compare Drogba and Torres, Drogba didnt need as much service, Torres is a finisher, Drogba was an all around striker, thats the difference,

If the striker needs service then he needs service you play to his strengths, thats something were not doing,

I have backed Torres since he joined us but I can now say I have had enough. I always held the little hope that he would come good but I cannot see anyway back for him. Not in Chelsea colours anyway. He is just so lazy and the biggest problem is he waits for everything to be served to him on a silver platter instead of creating his own chances. Unlike Didier who would get infront and behind defenders and when he has the ball he would just shoot. Torres doesn't shoot at all, he will slow down the play and wait a bit more and then when he has space he passes. It just does not make any sense to me, I would give him some of my confidence in front of goal because I honestly think I would score more goals then him.

He sits behind defenders instead of trying to get in front of them, majority of the time when he gives the ball away he puts his head down and just gives up. But the worst thing is, he is just not a threat to anyone. I highly doubt many teams are scared to play against him anymore because he just doesn't have that killer touch like he used too.

Looking at the way he played today and pretty much the last few games disgusts me. There is no pride in the way he plays his game and with the wages he is on you would think he would fight like there is no tomorrow. But there is just no will power and it's so evident on his face. We don't have anyone to really back him up right now until Sturridge is fit again and it just scares me that we won't have anyone until January atleast with a lot of experience int he role.
