Two strikers uptop who cant create chances for themselves, and no one to put good crosses to them. Dont think it would work at all. Higuain benefits from quick passing at Napoli, Hazard and Willian stay on the ball too long. Lacazette would be alot better if you ask me. If we play with two strikers, we should definately go for another creative AM, someone to supply them with balls. Willian distribution is still poor, Fabregas gets pressed easily, Hazard is more of a dribbler and all fullbacks we currently have are quite terrible in offense.

Ake had good season, but IMO is just example of grass is greener for now. No doubt he is good player, but he wont simply start for Chelsea right away. Either Baba or Ake plus experienced LB. And think Azpi should just stay in LB, he defends much better there. It could be that he just needs to adjust to right side again.

And can people stop with Cesc as our captain? I know he is one of ''realistic'' options, but I would prefer a captain that is physicaly more imposing and doesnt hide in big games.

Piotr Zieliński will move to Liverpool in the next few days ! He is by far my favourite Polish player, he is such a rare breed, absolute wonderful touch and vision, truly wonderful football brain, how the hell these players are not appreciated more ? Even in the national team he is preferred behind of some donkeys who are bigger and tougher but certainly not smarter.

I think this move is too soon though and feel that may end like many before who moved too soon and looked completely out of place like Markovic for example. Here is hoping that Klopp will do his touch on another Polish player and make him one of the best in his position. But I'm a bit scaried but also excited. If Zieliński will play in central area and cope there, in the Premier League, with his frame, that would be some achievement.

Also it probably ends Liverpool chances of getting Goetze so maybe Chelsea have a chance of landing him ?

A fast, technical striker alongside Costa would be a better fit than Higuain. Someone like Griezmann,Dybala or Lacazette.

PSG are supposedly after Martial.

That's my thinking too. Better to have two different type of CF's to compliment each other should Conte play 2 upfront.

Kostic is one of the better players in the Bundesliga in his position, your mate has got a point there, however, i wouldn't buy him.
Sure on his day Kostic can be the decisive factor, but 2,3 good matches from him in a row are enough for him to start talking about the Europa.
A lot of games, especially when it's not going as planned (take a look at the last couple of weeks) the boy goes hiding.
Yeah, he's talented, but a bit one dimensional (does next to nothing with his right foot), he's pacey, runs away with the ball,
a bit like Robben, always doing the same, but not that good, his crossings are the worst, nonetheless the boy is fit!
More than once Chelsea decided to buy a new talented attacking winger, we've already got the likes of Kenedy and Musonda.
No matter how much slack the likes of Pedro or Cuadrado (Juve) had to take, i can't see how Kostic would be the better player.

If and only if Chelsea are looking for a new toy on the wing, talented and not too expensive, Julian Brandt from Leverkusen has the higher ceiling, imo.
For some guys Pato was a high risk and high reward signing, in my point of view Fekir fits the bill nicely, but we've already got the talents in this position,
only buy a top class guy, someone like Sanchez and concentrate on developing Kenedy and Musonda. But with Roman, you'll never know...

More or less the same goes for Werner.
He's fast, but his decision making and his touches, i much rather have Traoré around.
On the plus side, he's young and already playing in the Bundesliga, but please stay away! Ordinary player, nothing special, nothing for Chelsea, imo.
But he's is still earning more than me these days, so i've gotta give respect where it's due!

Rupp seems like a top lad, interesting player. Could marvel here if the system's right, i think he would be cheap. Cheaper than the aformentioned guys.
He doesn't have the top name, first season in Stuttgart, reminds me a bit of Papy, but if Conte wants him, why not?!

Why is Matic constantly being linked to being on the way out? 

He is a top 3 player at his position. In any league. Him having a down season after the whole team falls flat on their face, and he gets the majority of the blame it seems. It makes no sense, particularly if you look at last season and realise himself, Hazard and Costa carried the damn team. His season last year has been replicated by how many players at his position over the years? It was that damn good... Looked on par with prime Yaya Toure. And we want to get rid of this guy? 

I realize some fans on here can get carried away, since they want the newest wonder kid and hot shot, but I sure as hell hope management have their heads screwed on. Fabregas looks way worse all season, and people are content if he goes or not. Yet Matic has a few bad games, and people are calling for him out... Wow.

I'm surprised to read such positive comments about Hughes. There was a lot of noise concerning him around the time of our FA Cup tie at Derby two seasons ago so I watched him a couple of times, including in that game. He looked very ordinary to me, like one of those youngsters who is horribly overrated just because he's got a little bit of technique. If these glowing assessments are accurate then either he has come on a lot or I was just plain wrong back then.
