Ran the show in the second half. Created a number of great opportunities, put in some good passes and deliveries into the final third. Could have done better maybe in 1-2 situations but done very well overall. Certainly deserves to start the next few games against the likes of Sunderland, Stoke, Steaua and Crystal Palace.

Did help that we had two strikers but he was so good with one touch passing and releasing the ball quickly in the Southampton half.

the header for torres, the header for oscar, the goal for terry, the chance for the first goal, the first time through pass to hazard.

This guy just creates chances, he just has to play. We havent been creating enough chances and the basel match where we didnt have a shot on target was the height for me. I never want to see any painful match like that again.

Mata straight back into the starting 11 for me.
