I agree with the majority - he should be starting. We missed his magic against Stoke and we could've done with him playing the game.

Defence was poor but that doesn't absolve him.

We missed Oscar I think today. Whatever Mata brought to the team last season simply hasn't appeared yet this season. Maybe that's a fitness issue but Oscar is the first name on my team sheet right now.

There's plenty of blame for today's result for why we lost, but there's also got to be some for why we didn't win when we were in command for so long.

I agree that this was perhaps a game more suited for Oscar at number 10, but he's not fit enough obviously.

Mata wasn't horrible but wasn't fantastic either, had a quiet game unfortunately.

Mata was so great last season, i guess all this in and out of the team hasnt helped. However when he does get playing he really has to do well to show Jose. I keep hoping he will get a goal

I agree, but there were a few occasions he should have gone for the shot but he passed. Hazard fixed that about his game and is now shooting more. If our AMs don't start trying to score, given our strikers' form, we'll continue to struggle to convert dominance into goals - which has been costing us some points.

We need all of them to put on their scoring boots. Also, they should be taking more chances anyway.
