    • He is quite raw still and flits in and out of games in a way that isn't too dissimilar to Mudryk.  I have watched quite a bit of Ipswich in the past month or so and I reckon he needs another year or two of development before he is ready to play for a club that is aiming for the top 6 in the PL.
    • My theory has been that the owners weren't happy with his decision to decline Burnley and told Poch to isolate him/restrict his minutes so they could get him out in January. His Father's comments also indicate this imo.
    • Same for the crusades , they were a  defensive response to several centuries of Jihad which had conquered 2/3 of the christian world including almost all of Spain and Portugal
    • However all the stories about the holy inquisition are grossly exaggerated - by Hammer films and the like. During the 800-900 years of holy inquisition only 1800 people were burned and many of them were real criminals. Capital punishment was the norm everywhere and the states killed many many more for the pettiest of offenses. As for Spain they were no worse than the British with the witchfinder general (Vincent Price). But the anglosaxon propaganda made the Spanish inquisition look much
    • So we escape some stricter FFP rules. I don't mind - the opponents are silly teams. From this year's conference league name a side other than Aston Villa who are worth mentioning.
    • Meanwhile, 4000 University students killed, all 12 Universities blown up, 211 Lecturers and Educators killed in occupied Gaza
    • More worried if we were playing someone like Sheffield United in all honesty. We will win this, 2-1, Madueke to start, Caicedo and Gallagher in the middle with Carney if available.
    • Pro-Israel Agitator Shouts 'Kill the Jews,' Gets Everyone Else Arrested Around 100 protesters were arrested on Saturday at a pro-Palestine encampment at Northeastern University, but not the one whose hate speech got everything shut down. https://www.thedailybeast.com/pro-israel-agitator-shouts-kill-the-jews-gets-everyone-else-arrested     Northeastern University had around 100 peaceful protesters arrested on Saturday at its Boston campus’ pro-Palestine
    • 0 chance Dortmund would rather have chilwell stumbling down the left , cutting back to make a basic pass. He’s a nothing player , no pace or invention, if he was foreign he’d be playing for Leicester still
    • Juventus skipped it this season so yes.  Winner gets roughly 15m. We get 50m just for participation in Club World Cup next summer in USA so go figure.
    • 56 Years to the day Columbia University saw cops cracking Vietnam protestors skulls. Columbia have in their reception ( paraphrasing) that the Vietnam protestors are vindicated, they were right. Same with the Iraq war protestors, and it will be the same with the Gaza occupation Genocide peaceful sit in. The military industrial complex and their compliant media in the mean time, will do whatever possible to attack what they see as their profits being undermined.
    • That's presuming Poch and the coaches are right in assessing both (the few) available players on the left and Maatsen. I don't share that trust tbh. I understand the situation, and agree that that's likely the outcome, and not a terrible one. I wish the club were not in this situation tho; I'd rather see more of Maatsen and then decide, like we did with Tammy -- who would've been able to help in this freaking season given the lack of options. I agree that Chilwell is a very good player
