This is why I can't take Liverpool seriously as a title winner or an elite side. Not only has EVERYTHING gone their way this season but they're terrible defensively.

They'll finish 4th next season, 3rd max. They won't be able to maintain the level of intensity and will actually need to rotate their squad. This current Liverpool side would get utterly blown away by any good European CL side. Bayern, both Madrid sides, Barca, any side really would put 5 past this defense.

No I think he has one more year to show improvements. He was clueless about attack this year, but he can change that next season.

Sides around them changing managers, not being in Europe, United hiring an incompetent idiot, Arsenal being Arsenal, Spuds being Spuds, and two strikers in the form of their lives against teams who can't defend. If you asked a Liverpool fan before the season to use their imagination to create a pure fantasy scenario they couldn't have made this season more perfect.
