Leeds don't play as hard against City as they do against Chelsea  in fact, no one does it the way they do it against us - Leeds , West Ham , Watford .

Little scrap one-game wonder  clubs.

Leeds go mental against us then stand still vs City. It's hard to believe how much teams want to beat us more than others, but they really do.

Because we continue to show that we are beatable.

The way City relentlessly use the ball in possession and attack as a cohesive unit is totally demoralizing to nearly every opponent. We had been starting to look like that ourselves up until a few weeks ago.

But these days a lot of smaller teams realize we’re vulnerable and it raises their confidence. Before, when we’re barely confessing a goal most games, teams were demoralized and thinking we were invulnerable. Now they see without Kante, Chilwell, and with all of our forwards out of form they can raise their intensity a bit and get at us.

City's team is a combination of quality and Pep's influence. With us, Tuchel's influence dwarfs our individual quality.

That's the thing we make it easy for other teams. It's not like recently we've been playing amazing and dropped points.. we've played poor and dropped points. Other teams see our weakness and we let them in. Whereas City and Liverpool have dodgy games but not often! And our issue is scoring where as they score..

our matches always look like finals, and those of City and Liverpool look like boring training sessions , you know already  that tomorrow Everton will play their final at Stamford Bridge

Fck off .

Again, both City and Liverpool are incredibly balanced with quality. City's team has been in the works since 2012 when they appointed Txiki. Liverpool 2015. Our team has a combination of players from three different managers prior to Tuchel, who is figuring out a system to get them all playing.

It's going to be a rough ride to compete against them, however, making wrong signings like Lukaku will just take us two steps back.

Even under these circumstances, we should beat Watford, Burnley and Leeds much more casually instead of playing finals with them.

Much of our matcher are finals - 2X Southamton , 2X Villa , Watford , Leeds , Burnley ,  West Ham , 2X Zenit , Newcastle (60mins)  , Brentford ......

Leeds got four points against City last season. Palace and Spurs "went mental" vs City while getting tamely beaten by us.

It isn't some big conspiracy.

I’ll just continue to say that the one thing that makes me jealous of City and Liverpool is how extremely comfortable each and every player 1-11 is on the ball and how their entire teams have essentially telepathic link ups with one another. They look like absolute machines on the ball in the final third that always have ideas. City especially seem to have a dozen different patterns they can use in around the opposition box to cause chaos and drag defenses out of position.

Attacking wise for City they have De Bruyne, Mahrez, Bernardo, Gündogan, Foden etc who are incredibly consistent. For Liverpool it’s Salah and Mane who are incredibly consistent with Jota who can be awesome as well.

Contrast that with us. Werner and Havertz have been wildly inconsistent since arriving. Pulisic misses like half of each season. Lukaku has gone months being in poor form. Mount and CHO can look awesome for a run of 3-4 games and then not do much for 3-4 games.

Our array of attacking talent seems like a mismatch of different styles whereas those two clubs have attacks that look like their managers created their ideal players in a lab.

City absolutely dicked Leeds. Leeds defending was league 1 standard the whole game and I am surprised it wasn’t 10-0 but at the same time, I suppose City can do that sort of performances when they want to, instead of just toying with teams.

7th straight win for Pep and City.

Exactly. All these games were tight.  We had 6 shots on goal vs Leeds - 2 of them pens, and a marginally better xG vs them. City had 15 on target vs them.

When everyone is fit, we have a very competitive knockout game team. But we are far off- especially in attack - with what Liverpool, City have. Have to keep at it and hope there are more slipups because both Liverpool and City look free-scoring right now.
