I know we are five points ahead of City right now (with a chance to go eight clear in two weeks) but we could really do with not getting carried away just yet. That cushion is vital heading into the game but long way to go still. We have lost an eight-point lead once, we could lose another (albeit five) if we aren't careful.

exactly.points dropped against City and this means not a lot.Still can drop points elsewhere regardless of how easy the fixture looks before it starts

Mourinho is not Lampard, he isn't Mr Chelsea like him and JT, never was.

Lampard moved to our sole direct rival in the title race and then tried to pull the wool over our eyes, and this is the man who marketed himself as someone who cared about the club.

It was an unpleasant decision that I hated, but a year at the Etihad absolutely does not cancel out 13 years at the Bridge, nor is enough to call him Judas.

Mourinho made Chelsea the name that it is today. He is no different than Lampard in my eyes.

No it doesn't. People remember all that he has done. But Frank will no longer be put on this pedestal. He was a good player for Chelsea, full stop.

He no longer deserves to be romanticized as a Chelsea Legend. The love story exists no more.

How many times do you need to be lied to/decieved to see that he's not Chelsea through and through?

Drogba left for China..then turkey and back.

A Cole, cried in his final game for Chelsea, and continues to care about our games in Italy.

What did Frank do? He tried to pull the wool over our eyes so he could go to City and still be viewed as a Legend. That was until the shit hit the fan over that fake move to NYCFC.

He's the top scorer in Club's history, that will always make him a legend no matter what.

Cole has done the 'sin' when he joined us.. it was worse for Arsenal fans because he stayed at Chelsea for a long time and won everything!

It's their careers, we can't judge them.

Its the same with us though.Papers over rated us then when we did loose a game suddenly it was omg not so invincible after all..no shit seeing as they started that talk in November.More for them to write about.

They've got tough fixtures whereas ours seem easier but who knows. If we play like yesterday no problem. No back to weeks before then bit hmmm.Gotta take chances and make most of slip ups

City has a larger squad than we do and that is their advantage.

I thought they were unlucky in few moments against arsenal. How the hell did jovetic not score from that close range?!

That was one of the most blatant dives I have ever seen and the announcers were ok with it.

Mistake playing Lampard as he was very poor when came on. Game was too quick for him.

Great result though

Just perfect! Before the match I was all like "Arsenal are getting thrashed again", but had my inner hopes that they'll leave The Etihad with something. And there we go, back on the New Year's day City had the gap absolutely nullified and now two weeks later we're looking at regaining that 8 point cushion we had in November. The status quo can be shuffled in a flash.
