In their last 4 matches, Manutd have not troubled their opposition keeper more than two times per match. Their attacking is terrible.

Yep. They're terrible, and as expected, buying Di Maria, no matter how good he is, won't fix their problems.

Honestly though, Uniteds starting side is the kinda formation you see when a team is pushing for a win in the 80th minute. Too much attack. I can see LVG persisting with the formation and the senior players turning on him like ours did under Scolari.

Yeah saf was the leader but he was everything.

This is why I never want Chelsea to do the same thing.

No matter how good Mourinho is, he must never control every aspect of the team like saf did and currently Wenger is doing.

Everything depends on them so when they leave there's no real structure left in place to take over.

Chelsea was loathed for how it ran things, but after all is said and done Chelsea is now running in a way that makes sense in this modern world.

Modern world is key, because you have to evolve.

This will hurt them come the end of the season. 3 points against relegation candidates should be a certainty. Burnley will pay for this missed opportunity.

Always thought they needed a world-class CB who can distribute the ball and a true CM/DM more than they needed Di Maria. He obviously strengthened them and he can play in midfield, but their squad is very unbalanced right now. They have too many attacking players that don't work well together(RVP, Rooney, Mata) and there's no "glue" between defence, midfield and attack.
