capriccioso 2,545
LOL - I know you think Kezman was rubbish for us - I do too! BUT he scored shed loads of goals before joining us and did well after leaving...That's because he played in the Netherlands, which is paradise for shit strikers. And he hardly did well after leaving us, he scored 10 in 33 at Atletico Madrid, 30 in 69 at Fenerbache (not bad), 10 in 53 at PSG, 2 in 10 at Zenit, 7 in 18 at South China and 0 in 11 at BATE Borisov. BUT he scored shed loads of goals before joining us and did well after leaving...My point was that SIMPLY TAKING STATISTICS about a Goalscorer is MEANINGLESS (unless it's FM or FIFA)It's all about 'HOW' the Striker plays and 'HOW' he fits into the Team's playing style Kezman is not and has never been a Great Striker! The likes of Drogba, Henry, Shearer, Ronaldo (Brazilian) Raul, Shevchenko (at Milan) Ibrahimovic ect were/are all Great Strikers, Kezman could never be in the same category as them. Strike 7,533
according to most sites, is that we are planing to 60million in place bid for cavani.if we do sign him for that amount which i dont mind, i think his worth every penny in that 60mill buy!We will have 120 million striking force, the question is will torres showup?its not 60 mil for Cavani alone mate. its 35-25 on Cavani and Oscar
Chelsea? 892
The more we are linked with players like Cavani, the more I'm starting to think we don't really have a plan.

Muzchap 8,966
LOL Alfonso Alves...Ok maybe Kezman as a 'Great Striker' was a step too far - but he was considered a 'Good' reliable 'Goal Scorer' - just didn't perfom over here Dirk Kuyt also had a great goal scoring record in Holland... It's crazy, but I thought Holland always produced some good defenders - but doesn't appear so That's why I'm glad we were never linked to Huuntelar (sp) - as he would be the same as these dudes! headhunter23 70
the day we start developing a young talent, like studge/lukaku, who excuse me, dont bag 20-30 goals, one being out of position, in their first full year, get linked with shit like this, really bugs me, we CANNOT and I mean CANNOT go into the year with an unconfident torres, it will spell trouble for the rest of the year. gary gordon 1,777
If he wants to come, we will get him. If he's only leaving for the money and to get Napoli huge payout, fuck-off! Although the games vs Liverpool would be special. Cavani vs Suarez....

Strike 7,533
Because Sky Sports said 6 am and that was nearly 10 hours ago, and nothing has happened since then? there is a story running on their main site about Oscar deal. maybe that was it
nadavTKL 1,787
1. They said "from" 6am. And look at that massage too: "Good Morning Sports Fans, LIVE from Sky Studios, from 6am." its the time they start working or somthing like that...2. Why would you think SSN are not telling the truth? when did that happend?
We Hate Scouse 10,332
My guess is that they were talking about there 'Paper Talk' or whatever section they have on their show, which they then announced the £60 million story of Cavani and Oscar that has been published in The Sun. I wouldn't read too much into it...
Jype 6,398
there is a story running on their main site about Oscar deal. maybe that was itThey already reported that yesterday and wouldn't it be stupid to come up with a headline like that when recycling 'old' news? Also, that potential deal for Oscar wouldn't be the biggest transfer of the summer by any stretch of imagination.
