Mouri_Matic 560
You cant say no when somebody decides to activate a release clause mate, thats the point of the release clauses....I am not talking about that, my point was referring to the point above. When the clause expire, the president is not forced to sell him anymore.

But that shouldn't be a problem for PSG btw

Joe Ay 66
rooney......jovetic is off to city.Naw man, not him. If he's good enough to only be a back-up for RvP at Man U, then he's definitely not good enough to be our no.1. I say we keep faith in what we have. Torres / Lukaku to alternate, and Ba for cover. Raul had his chance at Real when he was 17, can't see why we can't do the same for Lukaku.

Popular Post! Slam Dunk 1,442 Posted July 15, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted July 15, 2013 Don't really understand the bitterness of some. Napoli sold to the only team willing to pay his release clause, he himself didn't seem to mind where he played next season. Not every player desperately wants to play in England/play for Chelsea, the French league is getting better and he's part of a great period for PSG. Fair enough. francozola, Bosnian Blue, Fernando and 6 others
Special Juan 28,141
Good luck to him, staggering amount of money he will be earning, monstrous in fact. Wanted him badly here, think he is one of the best in the world but I am also very glad in a way we are not forking out such astronomical amounts but spreading over a few signings. gary gordon

BlueLion. 21,491
Of all the things you can criticise him for, the one thing you can't say is he has no ambition - PSG is one of the big projects in world football. Could potentially become the first French powerhouse of the modern era.
Popular Post! Spike 12,049 Posted July 15, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted July 15, 2013 Some of you lads are acting like spoilt brats. Almost as if you believe Chelsea is by right a bigger club than PSG. Chelsea were in the exact same position a decade ago. The only difference is that instead of bitter Chelsea fans whinging and whining, it was Liverpool fans or some shit.Whenever a Chelsea fan says with bitter adorn 'he is just doing it for the money' I cringe and murder a small kitten. You are doing this to the world, not me. Beepu, Fernando, Tomo and 8 others

Could potentially become the first French powerhouse of the modern era.I do think a player who actually chooses to go to the French league like Falcao did lack ambition. Cavani pretty much went to PSG because it was his only option other than staying at Napoli. No one else was willing to pay his release clause. At PSG, if they don't win the Champions League, no one cares because winning the French League is so meaningless these days. With the absolutely staggering amount of money their squad costs it makes their domestic league an afterthought. The standard there is low, so if they don't win the CL their season is really a failure. If a player has the option to go to Real/Barca/United/Chelsea ect and chooses to go to the 5th best league in Europe, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Popular Post! CHOULO19 24,332 Posted July 15, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted July 15, 2013 "Money boy"? That's very ironic coming from us Chelsea fans since over-paying in both fees and wages is how we got most of the players we did in the past decade.
