I love this new Ramires we are seeing, consistent and better first touch, more consistent passer, seems a bit stronger. Jose has obviously worked with him over the summer.

Yup. What a beast. Best performer so far early in the season. Not only for doing the typical Ramires things but showing exceptional passing ability. First name on the team sheet now, undoubtedly!

No probably about it, the pivot is our weakest part of the team when Lampard is in there against teams who have a lot of energetic players in midfield. Not to forget how much Lamps slows everything down......

Makelele was much better in terms of pace, Ramires is more agressive, Makelele barely tried to shoot. I think they are two completely different animals.

Ever since watching him play in his first start vs West Ham I knew he'd become my fav player one day. He's not the most gifted technically but his work rate is just as fun and inspiring to watch considering his size.
