Not possible. No young player will move to Chelsea to become 2nd choice and hinder their growth. Maicon is the absolutely PERFECT player considering his circumstances. He is exactly what we need for RB.

He is a great guy and one of the best midfielders in the world atm. I really want him here, and I believe he could work well along Mikel in a 4-2-3-1 formation since Spurs were mostly playing with 2 real midfielders and Luka was essential for that. With Mikel's secure passing and Luka's top notch playmaking skills it could work amazingly and could transform us into one of the most fearsome teams in Europe.

He is also a kind of player who can play well into his 30ies like Pirlo and even if we payed lot of money for him he would be worth it in the long run.

I'd say with those signings and Torres scoring on a somewhat consistent basis we'd be favourites for the title.

Ahh forgot about that. Yes, in that case your lineup is fine. It's not like a Luiz and Cahill partnership is weak. It may be even better and JT MAY (doubt it) find it hard to get back in the team if he misses some matches. Also Romeu could play alongside Modric. Would like to see how that would work out.
