I don't think that at all, they came with a purpose to buy youth, it's clear they are building a team for the future and with the multi club system they want to create, they have a place to loan these players gain experience and game time and make the transition to the main team. We as Chelsea fans are used to instant success, buying 28 to 30 year old ready made players, that doesn't seem to be the case going forward, summer window compared to the winter was clear,.they bought players in the summer to try and have the team compete through the transition and it didn't work, was that the managers at the times fault or Thiers at this point no one truly knows. Well known fact any new business (which this is to the owners) makes a loss in its first year, well hopefully this is our loss and it's only up from next season.

Yes but there have been serious blunders. Letting go of a perfectly capable physio and replacing him with the physio that got Dave Grohl through a concert tour....and then not coincidently player fitness has been crap. Talking to reporters about James Corden giving him advice. Making a complete mess of high profile transfer deals. That is all outside the manager carousel. Bringing in so many players that they have to sit on the floor of a professional locker room. I hope they have learned from these blunders. It has been a circus of a year.

If we're getting Poch and we have Enzo let's get a shit hot Argie striker for a link up.

Haven't a scooby who are good Argie strikers @Vesper ?  -last one that was genius was Crespo.

Lautaro and Alvarez, then a big drop (and neither are available in reality)

wild card 19yo youth, Alejo Véliz, from the main Rosario rivals (Rosario Central) of Messi's first big club (Newell's Old Boys) club

tallish (1.87m) tracking to around 20 goals over a 3500 minute full season

Rosario Central was the first big club for a superstar CF, the Argie World Cup hero and revised 1978 Ballon d'Or winner when they did a revision to include international players (he was picked over Kevin Keegan) Mario Kempes (who would be worth at least £100m in today's game)

Wait, wasn't Poch available when Tuchel was sacked? All this shithousery, Potter, not sacking Potter due to no suitable replacement and now 47 rounds of talks with everyone including my drunk uncle to do what was perfectly possible to do in the begining?

Well, if we get relegated, Kompany probably won't be such a bad option, as I have doubts that Pochettino would like to lead a team in Championship ?

I doubt he'd come if we got relegated lol..his team have just gone up! Why go to a team thats gone down

I genuinely think we're now beyond the thought process of protecting Poch and not bringing him in immediately.

Get him in now and let him assess this squad, try and get a jolt out of them to at least pick up a win or few points before the end of the season and he can really kick on from next season.

Whilst it's incredibly unlikely we'll get relegated as teams below us are running out of games and a few still have to play each other, we don't want to still be in with a chance of getting caught with 2 or 3 games left because there's no fight amongst this group going through the motions.

I said. And lot of others said it. Hiring Lampard as an interim was a crackpot decision.

If we were going to appoint an interim, we should have got a decent one.

If there was none available, go for your final managerial choice.

I feel bad for Lampard too. He needed to go to some place with a lot less pressure and rebuild his coaching credentials. Not jump back into this cesspool.

We can bring back Franco di Santo.

Signs were there. They struggled even with them.

Before we start this Show me exactly where I said 'they have had a successful year"

You didn’t say that but you said this season is one of transition. How often do teams in a “transition year” go from finishing 4th to 11th (perhaps even lower)? Not very often.

It’s ridiculous to even use that as an excuse to explain this massive drop off. I mean we have went from a not so semi stable club off the pitch (with the circumstances of sanctions on Roman) to an absolute disaster (with no sanctions) on and off it.

Do you think when we signed players Lso Boehly & co told them it would be a season of transition…..

Whats changed in that time? Who’s decisions have influenced 95% of the change? Don’t tell me your that naive.

We are a laughing stock. Boehly and Eghbali’s ownership so far has been a laughing stock. Its no coincidence. If it were Man United, Arsenal, Liverpool, City or Spurs - you’d agree and be pissing yourself laughing at then. Even for all the bad seasons they’ve had, have they ever had a season this bad in the last 20 years? We could finish lower still.
