He comes across as genuinely decent human being but ultimately couldn't do what was expected of him here at this wonderful club of ours. I hope this Naglesmann is the real deal, I really don't know much about him. Same. He was doing his job..or least trying to do something..ish..just was too big in the end. Again never should be appointed but risk you take.. Muzchap, DDA and Johnnyeye 2

I think the Potter experiment shows that there is a big difference between being a good coach at bottom or mid table team then coaching a side that every game is a must win. There is too big of a gap in expectations. Muzchap and Johnnyeye

Maybe Todd Boehly will ask Dave Grohl seeing as he hired his physio….

nyikolajevics 2,702
It had to end.. Club was patient with him, he wasn’t sacked after few bad games, but more than 6 months have passed and he still seems to have no idea how our team should play and we hardly have any stable points in the starting eleven. Taking over this big mess was out of his experience/strenght, but have to say it is incredibly tough situation for any manager. Hopefully TB can appoint the right person who can start building next season team, no pressure from now on. We’d be insane to consider Zidane who hasn’t done a thing outside of those mentality monster Real Madrid sides. He’d be an even riskier appointment than Potter was. I wasn’t even convinced about what he actually did at Real Madrid where he just stood on the touch line not doing much. Don’t think he’d consider us either, tbf. He wants to land at another cushy, low pressure job I think. ulsterchelsea, bigbluewillie and Johnnyeye

I'm not saying we should go anywhere near him, btw. I just brought him up as another notable name that's available.
