A heroes welcome? He went to United and Spurs after us. I doubt it. He’s well and truly burnt his bridges I think with a certain percentage of the fanbase and even the English media were even more annoyed by him and his antics in pressers etc. I mean he can still talk the talk but cant walk the walk. Although stranger things have happened.

I get Potter is shite and hilariously out of his depth but Mourinho would be a sideways move more than a step forward and if the football at Roma is anything to go by couldn’t see him lasting too long here either, 31 goals for and 21 against (although ours is still worse).

We’re so down in the dumps right now that yes, I do think Mou returning would excite a lot of our fans and his name would be sung all around the Bridge in his first match back.

It would be an absolutely insane appointment to make but if the hierarchy are desperate enough to stop the slide I wouldn’t be shocked if they turned to him.

Honestly, I haven’t seen a single name linked with us that makes me feel totally confident that they could turn us into a world class side. Enrique, Flick, these random up and comers that have been linked all have big question marks for me. I could see Enrique being a hit or a big time bust.

Poch is probably the one that I’d feel most pleased with I guess. Knows the League inside out and we have the personnel to effectively work in his style.

Mou is nothing to get excited about, I'd go as far as saying stick with potter over Mou.

Just imagined falling into coma one beautiful autumn day and waking up with Poch as Chelsea manager 😂

If I woke up to poch as the manager, I would ask to be put back in one until ill he's gone. Spurs take our sacked managers not the other way round

Even if there was a comparison have a feeling Potter would fall well short of testosterone levels.

Today. Man Utd players have said their second half 3 goal turn around last night v West Ham was down to Hags half time shouting and bollocking. I just cant imagine Potter ever raising his voice to our pampered under achieving multi millionaires. Massive problem, that is not going away.

I can't see potter shouting at the players either, but shouting and balling is ok I guess, but been able to tell people of with out shouting or balling and making them feel an inch tall is 100% worse than any shouting. Not that I think potter can do that either tbh.

What annoyed me the most, more than the results, is his insistence on being compared to Arteta and Klopp:

Even Arteta mentioned that at one point, you just have to win.   Potter trying to use either of those managers as an excuse to get more time at Chelsea is pathetic.  The most concerning thing is, he's not IMPROVING any player at the moment.

Klopp is at least playing Elliot and that other young midfielder, Arteta has given Martinelli & Saka so much confidence...whereas none of the youngsters or new signings have shown any sign of improvement under Potter so far.

Half time is the time. If you can't do that as a boss, you're not a boss. Give the players an inch and they will take a mile.
