I tell you someone I am always impressed by when I watch him - especially in Europe - is James Tavernier. Not saying he is 1st choice RB quality but as a back up I would take him.

he is still 30yo (turns 31 in 2 and half months) so not like a 33, 34 yo on his utter last legs before an MLS cash in

his stats are just insane the past 7 seasons as a fullback (yes, I know he plays in a shit league, but has produced in Europe and against Celtic)

83 goals

107 assists

190 total goals produced (and already 4 this season, so likely soon over 200 in less than 7 and a half seasons)

average of 27 per season for 7 years

70 in just the past 2 seasons

and 32 total goals produced in the EL/CL (16 + 16)

We should be offering either Pulisic or Ziyech to them in exchange for allowing CR7 to come the other way. Before we do something stupid like offering Auba a 3 year contract as was rumored yesterday.

Would gladly offer them together to United for £80m.

honestly I am interested to see how Werner, CHO, Pulisic, Ziyech do outside of playing for Tuchel. I wonder how much their performance is due to them and how much of it due to Tuchel system. Personally think they are much better than what they had shown.

Early result of Sterling is not good under Tuchel.

ffs let him get through the door first

Sterling has been very good in these first two matches. Anyone saying otherwise doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

I know who you're refering to..

He should change his name to thrush, 'cos he's an irritating cunt.

Gunna block his post.

“Very good” lol

It is the type of performance you guys would moan about if it was any of our attackers.

I remember how hard you were pumping Lukaku last summer, even in mid season you were like he would still score 15 goals.

Every former player, pundit, most of Chelsea’s fan base, and everyone on different Chelsea forums I read have said he’s been very good.

But I guess since Clockwork says he’s been bad it must be true. 🙄

I dont think Sterling has been bad by any stretch, but I don't want him wasted in only a false 9 role.

In the Tottenham game, their CBs (Dier in particular) were on his heels the whole time.

I'm hoping we can sign another attacker that can free him up some more, so that he can have a bigger impact. He might be a better finisher than most of our previous attackers, but by no means the most clinical. He's been known to miss before (as evidenced in his prevjous teams).

Stats and eye test indeed show he is playing at a team whose level is way below his. I wanted a RWB earlier this year and completely forgot back him, but he is certainly someone I think can step up to the PL. The problem with him however is he is Rangers best player and RLC's performance at the weekend means he deserves a crack at it now.

We’ll probably have to send him out on loan again right at the deadline.

Also, wtf is going on with Alonso’s move? We’ve been hearing it’s done for like 2 weeks.
