I can't comment on Perisic now, I haven't seen anything really of him to know if he's shown signs of decline, but I've always been a fan of his. Not a world beater, but I always saw him as a bit of an attacking version of Azpilicueta - simply reliable, steady and consistent.

The club may need to make a couple of clever and cost effective decisions in the market this summer to reshape the squad. If Perisic can still go, it might be a very solid short term option. I just don't know where he's at now.

Same. I've always liked him - workaholic even when he was a winger and a good older head to add to the squad with Rudiger and possibly Azpilicueta, Alonso departing. Just don't know if he's on the decline, is the right signing for a LWB position that requires mobile players.

He's been one of Inter's best players this season. Him, Brozovic, and Skriniar.

Also worth noting that they have Gosens just coming back from injury and have been linked to players such as Dybala who will command a high wage. So you can see the reluctance from them not wanting to extend his contract.

Perisić would’ve been very exciting 5 years ago. Very strange signing now, though.

A lot of people would have looked at Silva in the same way given his age.

He's always been a naturally fit, hard working player so would imagine fitness wouldn't be an issue even at this stage of his career.

As I mentioned I haven't really seen enough of him the last year or two to know if he's still a good player but from what other's are saying on here and twitter, he seems to have been playing at an extremely high level still and reinvented himself in a wing back role.

True. He does indeed still appear to be lightning quick and super athletic despite being nearly 34. Doesn’t look to have lost a step.

If the idea is to gradually ease Chilly back into the team at the start of next season then Perisić makes sense. He’s certainly a colossal upgrade over Alonso or playing Pulisic/CHO there.

He's also comfortable with both feet so would provide an option on both flanks potentially.

Probably for LWB, which could mean Tuchel want to stick with the back three.

That makes a lot more sense

Super crappy source. I hope neither happen. Both would be poor signigns, albeit there is a case for Perisic. I dont think he can make the step up from italy to prem at 33 tho
