Presumably, our starting pivot would then be De Jong and Kovacic. Jorginho will be rotated and Kante will be used sparingly. Chukwuemeka will also be used to provide fresh legs and start against bottom half sides. 5 midfielders for 2 spots is fine. 6 is just overkill. Although i do think occassionally he could play in the 2 (especially if we build an elite back 3 and in games against lesser teams) also i expect we will see some 4-3-3 and other formations depending on the opponents. But still probably atleast until January (e.g after the WC) Conor may push for a loan exit not to risk his place in the WC squad. if we sign PEA then maybe Kai moves to some times on the sides of the front 3.We can guess how players are going to be used but really aint gonna find out for a few months.
