In two straight summer transfer windows they strung us along only to eventually sell their best player to a league rival for a significantly lower fee than what we offered. And won’t even receive the money all up front from a club who could be royally fucked within the next few years. Boehly should make a point to never deal with Sevilla again. Shouldn’t even pick up the phone. Sevilla fans are furious with Monchi.

Last Sicarius 610
Broke Barcelona just did tranfers for almost 200m this summer. And also has new players to salary. How much of their goods they sold to do that? Incredible for me. Back to our case: Berrardi and Fofana would be a nice deal for us in current situation. And get some cheap back up for James. I cannot take anymore of these professional football players with little technical skill. Haven't we been doing that? Kepa was meant to be superb with the ball. Spuds, Arse, and United haven’t made any spectacular signings or anything but they’ve all improved significantly on paper. How exactly have United "improved significantly"? They bought a relatively unknown Dutch youngster, their two best players have left/want to leave & they've bought Blind 2.0 2 hours ago, Clockwork said: Say what you say is true. Gotze was phenomenal under Klopp, Salah was a flop at Chelsea and was nothing special in Serie A. Who knows how Pulisic would have been under Klopp. If Klopp leaves Pool they will go back to fighting 4-6. Salah was involved in 13 goals in 26 games whilst on loan at Fiorentina and 56 goals in 81 games at Roma. If that's "nothing special" in your book, I'm not sure what to say. All players have technical ability otherwise they wouldn't be footballers its bascally one of thee hardest things in the world to become. Now clearly some are better than others, have different traits etc etc etc but and this is a big but not all these "big name" players will be right for us just like they might not be right for Pep klopp etc. Now there is no 1 in the world that can tell me there is absolutely nothing out there, nothing nada zipppp, that's horse shit. The amount of talent out there is incredible we just need the right some 1 to find it!!!!
Clockwork 1,794
@LAM09 Girvinho at one point was tearing it up at Roma too. Salah has incredibly exceeded expectations at Pool, his first season at Pool he scored more goals than his entire time in Serie A.

Players don't just turn good or bad 90% is confidence in yourself and your managers. Werner for example was brilliant came here started bad and he's never got his confidence back and he never will here, it's a shame but his time is done here, he will move on and bag aload of goals. His numbers were worse than Salah's, he was coming off an awful spell at Arsenal and was a number of years older. There isn't much of a comparison. Also, the last bit is wrong - he scored 43 (32 in EPL) in all comps for Liverpool and 43 (35 in Serie A) during his time in Italy. Pizy 19,280
If our interest in De Jong was indeed real (and I don’t think it is) I would bet you anything that Barca would intentionally ratfuck us again. They’d string us along until deadline day, agree a fee, and then sell him to Man United for less than any fee we agreed to pay. For whatever reason they have some sort of perverse hatred of us this summer. bigbluewillie
Jype 6,398
No idea how reliable the journo is, and unless I'm not mistaken the lad couldn't join before 2024 anyway when he turns 18. Real Madrid have really struck gold in these kind of early deals with Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo. Blue Armour
