But the mistakes did happen and they shouldn't. These guys get paid more than most in this league. Did West Ham make these mistakes. We pay top dollar to ensure these things don't happen and they happen far too often. Its not acceptable. It's weak mentality.

Mistakes are normal and it was obvious that these things would come back (paired with injuries to key players) at some time. We were carried by Tuchel far too long. We are good but its been clear for a while it won´t be enough for the title so people shouldn´t be too upset.

It's just 4 points dropped in a week which is worrying..happens every year. And injuries on top of that..

7 on the bounce dropped

2 draws and now this collapse

title hopes are already in deep trouble

when all are health, there are only 4 TRULY elite teams on the planet (I have not seen it from PSG, sorry, despite the crazy Galacticos-lite cast)

and 3 are un the EPL

Pool

Citeh

and us (injuries are killing us atm)

plus obviously Bayern

IF they add two CB's (or at least one who is truly WC to pair with Alaba) and (huge IF as he is literally the most important player to a team on the planet) IF Benz stays 100% fit, then I might add Real

Serie A has no dominant team at all (thus will be a great race for the trophy, with AC Milan , Inter, Napoli and Atalanta all having shots, I think Juve are too far off the pace, they are already 14 points off top atm)

the chasm between us (when healthy), Citeh, Pool, Bayern, Real (if Benz stays uninjured) and PSG (bring up the rear atm) and the rest of the planet is just crazy immense

This club and expensive strikers, btw. Why the fuck is it like a curse for us? Of all the super clubs in Europe, almost EVERY striker we buy turns shit when they come to Chelsea.

Can’t even imagine what we’d do if Lukaku continues on like this and flops. One year into a long contract and cost 100m. We’re stuck with him for years.

Hazard atm is pointless, he seems lost a yard of pace.

I think him coming back to a place where he is loved and appreciated might bring back some form. Prime Hazard is gone. We need some quality in attack and individual ability on the ball.

Environment is one of the most overlooked factor in players performance. look at Messi at PSG he looks like he has aged big time in a few months since leaving Barca.

See if Conte is interested in Kane-Lukaku swap. While Kane hasn't looked at least his individual performance and presence doesn’t hurt the team overall play.

Yeah shit happens....not too bad just the constant niggling injury but we gonna be fine...City and Pool will definitely drop points though they have much fire power upfront...

But thing is like said they're strong up front so even though they may drop points we will definitely. I duno..see what happens. Didnt see us winning the league anyway obs a long way to go but still think Liverpool will. They score for fun and we do that here and there or just faff

Liverpool form is not sustainable and they hardly rotate...they will soon wear out....its too long a season...we have been amazing for a very long time now no thanks to injury...

Man I miss the days of Hazard creating something out of nothing, purely individual moments. We have no one on this team that could do that.

btw if he is available on loan, I would take him. Worst case scenario he doesn’t regain form, and Tuchel drops him until is his loan is up.

Liked your post mainly out of nostalgia.

Will never say no to Hazard returning, even if it was just to sit on the bench and crack jokes.

Maybe that's the reason....should go for less big-name strikers who are under less pressure to deliver. Drogba, Costa..et al

But seriously a lot of members here smelled trouble when we were linked with Lukaku. Apart from the Arsenal game, have not seen an instance where he feels like he belongs.

About this "Liverpool will wear out" thing, they've been in title races for years now. They finished above us even last year. Liverpool's lack of rotation has not caused them many problems till now and they do have decent backup players who may not be excellent individually but fit the way they play very well - like Tsimikas at LB.

Tuchel should have just put Werner on instead of Lukaku, at least his play fits the team.

Hopefully THAT was Mendys off game, no more for a while please.

Would have made no difference. Even Werner doesn't fit the team in a central role. Especially with West Ham's defense going deeper and deeper.

Drogba had his inconsistencies and Costa was never a 2nd half season player.

This club hasn't had a consistent goal scorer since the early years of Hasselbaink.
