Roman casualy bought all the oil barrels when they were cheap and now selling them for 6x the price....

And then he saw FFP is rubbish in city trial, so it will be like 2003 all over again😄

FFP is not rubbish is just that it got hit with the time cause, meaning that allegation happen too late after the 5 year mark.

But now is more like FFP is relaxed because of COVID, so time to pounce.

65 straight + 15 of bonus based on performance is very good deal for Bayern Leverkusen given also the current economic circumstances. They decline? Fair enough, let's move on. Let's splash this money on world-class left back and central defender instead.

This is exactly what we should be pushing for, this is still COVID19 period and fans can't come  to stadiums so the likelihood of clubs generating as much revenue as previous seasons is not possible.

If we sign him for 100mil like a lot of people want, I fear that the pressure might get to him like (Greizmann, Coutinho, Dembele, Jao Felix) and all these 100mil+ flops everywhere.

He's still young and the last thing we need is the heavy price tag weighing on his head. Like I've always said, the only central midfielder worth 100mil is De Bruyne and our negotiating team should not do business like a fan but be shrewd. Leverkusen did not make champions league so they need the money anyway.

Yeah I hear you but FFP is still a joke, how the hell can PSG and CITy do what they did and will do with no punishment at all? How can you buy neymar and mbappe for 400M and nothing smells fishy? Everybody knows city have cooked the books for years, we all know they are sponsoring themselves. Money and power talks and they seem to have alot of it. If FFP was legit they both would have been rekt.....and some even say FFP is illegal according to EU laws, which ever one you pick FFP has failed badly.

Don't think Fabrizio Romano has any inside info on this deal. What he posted basically came from Bild, which was already tweeted by Jan Aage Fjortoft and Christian Falk.

I do agree the fee is rather high and that money could spent elsewhere. But as Jype alluded to above, who are we to tell Leverkusen how much they should sell Havertz? We are just the buyer, they own Havertz and he still has a few years left on the contract. If the situation was the other way round, we would be aiming at getting the most out of the deal rather than selling the club's main star player at a discount, regardless of the pandemic.

As for the pressure from the big price tag, well, that is another discussion altogether. 3 of those names you mentioned above are all at Barcelona and they were just dumb in spending that money for them without having any idea how to use them. Don't think the same can be said about us. Joao Felix, I think, has had some decent performances but he joined the wrong club.
