The fact he signed a new deal without committing any further time to the club, suggests both parties want to keep their options open. If you're a young manager, you would take the risk at Chelsea. Worst thing that could happen is you'll be sacked in a few months and a nice payout (e.g. Villas-Boas). Yesterday the team was playing at home against relegation bound Burnley. One CB received red. He replaced one attacking player with another CB. Then besideds the back 3 or 5, we had a mid with Fabregas and Kante plus Willian and Batshuay. The 2nd half was entertaining due to teams fight spirit, bu the final minutes aside, the team never kept Burnley under pressure. We should discuss tatics and football instead of silly talk about the board lacking ambition. Anyone who think the team need to spend more 200m to dont get embarrassed by Burnley should stop writing stuff about football.
