drog.ba 239
Needs to develop an additional game plan when we cant counter attack, bring in some players - probably a midfielder and striker who can break down a defence when we are forced to be patient The only place to be
Popular Post! Gilvorak 3,734 Posted April 2, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted April 2, 2014 He's failed this season no two ways about it. Aesthetically, this is the worst we've played since he's left. It's painful watching us play.Sold two players with actual end product in Mata and De Bruyne. Let Lukaku and Courtois leave on loan who would have been useful tonight. Spending £30m on Wilian, you're having a laugh.Bottled the League to fucking Liverpool, got battered in the FA Cup, got knocked out by Sunderland of all teams in the LC & we're barring another 2012 miracle we're out of the CL too.The only great thing about this season were the Eto'o, Schurrle and Matic signings. That's two failed seasons in a row for him. duo11bluecl, lionsden, Rubber bullets and 2 others

Once again he's piped up when we've lost again and stuck the knife in on the manager who is clearly still building a team but simply doesn't have the resources he needs because too many cunts were calling for short-term fixes a few years ago and never had any patience.People like him are the problem at this club. Cech's helmet 220
Letting Mata go was his dumbest decision. playing Ramires every game is even more stupid.(the dude still is playing on the right wing) other than that, there is no one better than him. we need some midfielders and strikers in the summer. Pizy 19,379
Just hope he has free reign and total authority to rip apart and repair the team in the summer. The quality in our side pales in comparison to Bayern, Madrid, PSG, and even City's. I hate to sound like a spoiled fan here, but we need some serious investment. Like more than £100m investment like ALL of the big European sides have done and will continue to do. PSG had the likes of Cabaye, Pastore, and Lucas on the bench, Madrid and Bayern can bring a couple of world class players off the bench at any given time, and City can afford to lose their best player and still be the best team in England. Our bench had a shit Torres, an ancient and past it Lamps, and useless Mikel. SPENDING SHIT LOAD OF MONEY THEN FUCKING PARK IT at a decent team. It really wouldn't have matter tonight if Mikel was playing instead of Luiz or Ba instead of Schurrle, it means fk all. That's literally word for word what I was going to say. He's clearly identified the players he can't trust yet he's still having to play some of them because we made such a mess buying players about 3 years ago. He needs to get rid of some of the deadwood and get the players he wants, although I can sense some people are getting twitchy fingers and are about to start a Mourinho Out thread.I think this summer will be a massive one for us. At least one striker, at least one midfielder and maybe even a centre-half if Zouma or Kalas isn't quite there. Courtois for Cech...someone for Lampard and Shaw for ColeThe thing is we are demanding £50m+ every single season to sign new players, that means it is MINIMUM to win a trophy because we are spending more than 15-17 other teams in the league on average. It is not as if we got fricking Olivier Giroud leading the line either, we just decide to do fk all about our problems to sign luxury players like Schurrle and Willian because they 'work hard'
Jase 43,479
If there is one thing Mourinho needs to add to this squad is probably some of the brute force and that c*ntess like Drogba, Costa etc. At times you look at the players and they just look so nice and fanciful but lacking that aggression to bully the opposition and lately, feels as though the players only turn up when they like it. Popular Post! Azpinator 2,325 Posted April 2, 2014 Popular Post! He didn't sign the striker we need, made false promises to some players, he said he'd rotate.. etc. Saying he should "repair the team" in the summer doesn't make any sense.. He didn't sign the striker we need, made false promises to some players, he said he'd rotate.. etc. Saying he should "repair the team" in the summer doesn't make any sense.. Why didn't he "repair" it last summer in the first place?Name the striker he could've signed? There were NO top class striker who have been obtainable since he's taken over. Rotate? Rotate what? Our best XI struggles enough at times as it is. The only mistake he's made is letting Mata go mid season. The De Bruyne sale was just about enough to cover the Matic acquisition. Shouldn't have sold Mata who would've likely prevented us from dropping so many silly points. The frustrating thing about listening to José, though, is all of this FFP talk. City already had a great squad before this summer and still spent £100m. Bayern have the deepest and arguably best squad in Europe yet went out and bought Gotze and have Lewandowski coming in. United are surely going to go out and spend huge money (at least £100m) this summer. PSG spent £55m on a striker when they already had one of the worlds best. Real Madrid had an insane squad and brought in Illaramendi, Isco, and spent over £80m ON A SINGLE PLAYER!But for some reason we're playing this "sell in order to buy" game. Why are we playing by these imaginary rules that none of Europe's elite seem to be playing by? No way will UEFA punish any of these European giants. They won't punish us. We need to join these sides. Popular Post! Superblue 6,372 Posted April 2, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted April 2, 2014 People need to be patient. Mourinho looks as fed up as some of us feel now, we are so toothless in attack it's laughable and whilst Mourinho has inherited some talent in the squad, he's also inherited some serious deadwood too. This is a work in progress and I wouldn't want any one else here except Jose to complete it. Selling Mata shows the power he's got at the club, more than any other recent managers and that's a good thing because he will be given more licence to buy who and what he wants. Our defence is the most solid it's been since he left (in particular Cahill and Azpi have improved massively this season), Matic is just the dominating midfielder we've been needing, and Hazard has pushed on this season. A quality striker in the summer and a few more tweaks and we'll be making a much more competitive challenge for the title and Europe next season. quickpassnmove 924
To be fair, Gilvorak pretty much summed up our seasonIt's not a disgrace, it's the truth, unfortunately. This team has a LONG way to goNormally Gilvorak has something worthwhile to say, but I think he's lost his marbles. Only thing that matters is that Chelsea make top 4 or 3 and round out the squad in the future with quality in all postions. adding guts and vision (minimum 2 players) to the team in center midfield to play with Matic, a strong CF, some fullbacks who can attack, etc. I was 50-50 on Mourinho returning, but I support him and I think Jose sees Chelsea's problems pretty clearly right now. I think that you can see the future in his eyes as he looks calmly from the technical area in Paris. Whether or not Jose has the tactical and coaching ability to get Chelsea to outplay all squads in Europe is another matter, but I see no problem going forward with Jose for some seasons while this squad is being built-up. The fact remains for me: CFC must still recover from poor decisions in 2011. Just trying to get beyond the consequences of those poor decisions and move on to the future with Jose and a new squad is the ongoing process at this moment.Gilvorak sounds like his world was blown up by Pastore, Thiago Silva, and Thiago Motta today. Today feels like any other day as a Chelsea fan since 2005/2006 for me. Not had a strong and balanced squad as when we had a strong CF, Duff, Robben, Makelele, Lampard's best days, Carvalho, Terry et al. To me, it doesn't seem like the wait will be too much longer. It's just remarkable that we are now talking about 10 years transpiring since Chelsea looked so good and so balanced as a squad. and where has all that money gone since then? Not Jose's fault.
