hjperdeath 2,226
Have you watched the game?Because to say we created enough chances really makes me wonder if you actually watched the match! My exact words were, we did create chances, which we did and did not take. hjperdeath 2,226
These are not Jose's problems he inherited them ,come next summer and after the transfer window our team will be a proper team and not a football manger team, with players brought in to enable you to win matches and trophies,at the moment we are a playstation team with a collection of no. 10s and no balance. He will put this right because he understands football .Woah Phil. You've improved !
Rmpr 8,977
My exact words were, we did create chances, which we did and did not take. And that is s lie. We did nothing to win despite having absolute control over the match for 87 minutes against a shitty opponent...Jose has a better team than our last three managers and he is doing a worse job. To say he is not accountable for the way the team is playing (or not playing) is pathetic! Sheva.
The only place to be 11,313
Jose has the personnel at his disposal to play much better, But that's the thing - he doesn't. We're bemoaned the lack of a midfielder for years now, yet we go and buy Willian. We need a striker, so we loan our best one and sign a guy out of the Russian leagues.I think Jose should be using the academy players more than he has been but we have 6 players for 3 spots in midfield. That's absurd squad building and a waste of resources.

We did nothing to win despite having absolute control over the match for 87 minutes...And I disagree an Eto'o and Ba miss and we could have won. We played decent for about 80 minutes, and that doesn't mean we where the best team you could see in England, but it was a decent enough performance to go through and think about Arsenal. Conversion let us down, the failure to kill the game when we could have.
Special Juan 28,864
If you don't take your chances then you are always going to be on the edge.Let's face the facts, our strikers are absolute shite in front of goal. der Kaiser 77
Mourinho wants to get back to his old 1:0 tactic, exactly how we played in his first season here, and that's impossible in these days. I meen, it's not impossible but it's very hard especialy because we don't have players for defend result.

There is no attack in the final 3rd, all I have seen, a tick-tack passing in the middle of the pitch, useless possession. Styles 9,790
Jose has no choice or a clue how to play " flair" football. Therefore, back to parking the bus will be seen soon. He allued to that in his post-match presser:"We are going in one direction and the right direction but it is quite frustrating. Football is about getting results and it's quite frustrating as we may have to take a step back in order to be more consistent at the back."It's something I don't want to do, to play more counterattacking, but I'm giving it serious thought. If I want to win 1-0 I think I can as I think it is one of the easiest things in football. It is not so difficult, as you don't give players the chance to express themselves."Back to square one. Transition over!!1!!!!1!
Styles 9,790
The best line of the night - by far! - however was:"The quality of football we produced is amazing." said Mourinho. You couldn't make it up!
bushman 2,043
Chelsea squad might not be an ideal one for Jose to work with. However, he still doesn´t use it wisely, I feel.Players like Oscar, Hazard are being used excessively, almost already burnt out. While Schurrle, William or even KDB are not playing enough. Is Jose fair to KDB ? No, he is not. Play him ffs.

He plays with his head down a lot, whereas Willian, Schurrle, Hazard and Oscar are positively barrel-chested in comparison. I don't think he rates his character that highly. People say he needs confidence but he really seems to struggle when the pressure is on. Maybe I'm being unfair, but I can see why Jose has left him out.Back to square one. Transition over!!1!!!!1! What's the point in playing expressive football if you can't rely on your strikers to score? He's got a point, although he is part of the problem's making. Has Jose used Shurrle, William enough ? Poor Hazard or Oscar are so tired & susceptible to injuries, cos they are overplayed. In recent games Jose started playing Mata, finally. Is he now to his liking ?As I said, this team is not an ideal one, but certainly Jose is responsible for it, largely.

I can barely stomach our performances now as it stands.
bushman 2,043
Another gripe I have here. Jose knows the strikers are utter shit. So why not play Hazard, Mata, Oscar & up front any of them with Schurrle or William on the wings ? Iva the hoof ball specialist is allowed to roam deep while Luiz is held back. Why were Schurrle or William bought, then ? I thought to play wide,on the wing, if I remember correctly.

Not holding my breathe on it though.
ChelseasMessiah 304
I would pack the midfield and play Schurrle as a false 9, and wouldn't even give a fuck.

Not holding my breathe on it though.Well, I would too. However, as we all know, Jose is on a power trip. A very good coach, but a stubborn mule, my way or fuck you all.Under his tenure, so far, losses, goal scored against, just not much, but all I read, the team was great, we just missed our chances...on & on, every week. I say, do something else! After all, he is paid well to correct this pathetic football team.
