Leif 6,006
Tbh I feel like watching his PC's are a waste of time now. He does not implement anything he says. All he talks is bullshit nowadays. lionsden, Danny Boyukliev and Amblève.
CHOULO19 24,332
"The same players that got knocked out by PSG are the ones that won the Capital One last week and the ones that will the EPL.""The envy is the biggest tribute that the shallows can do to a man."Shots fired! Stability for me is between 3 to 5 years. You can accomplish a lot in that time. What I don't agree is to have Mourinho as our saf.I think that saf was an anomaly and should not be used as measuring tool.I would prefer to look at the time frame that pep did for his team. 5 years is good enough.Mourinho has done two and have not been two years of greatness. Two years that someone like pellegrini has done with similar resources if you can call it that...But mourinho will get his third year, and who knows maybe 4th.But I have not see nothing of greatness that merits unlimited amount of years.Unless we are going the Arsenal way and be satisfied with a certain standard...I'm in no way calling for us to give Jose a ten year deal, I'm just saying that calling for him to get sacked when we're fairly comfortably leading the EPL and just 10 days after winning the league cup is a complete overreaction.Sacking Mourinho is ridiculous but he really does need to rethink his tactical approach for next season. If he wants to sit deep and counter then fine but make it work so that we don't concede chances and are actually capable of effectively countering. It just isn't working this season. We've got 10 behind the ball yet we're still conceding big chances and our counters have been very poor this season. While I agree to an extent, you have to look at it from Jose's perspective. PSG aside of course because our approach in the second half was beyond ridiculous. But generally, these tactics have worked for most of his time, even at Chelsea. At the same time, our forwards are just not clinical. We are a team that needs to get into dangerous positions 10-15 times before we find the finish or the pass that makes a goal. So generally, I'd agree with Jose that it is NOT in our best interest to trade chances with other teams. When we play chance for chance against teams, it is more likely to end the way it did at WHL against Tottenham than against Everton.

So there's nothing of greatness so far. Now this season city have not improve and pellegrini is talked about being sack. It will be the same for mourinho if next season instead of improving we have regress, it will be the same. laura90

Blue Colored Sky 1,807
I think that was a brilliant press conference. The way he dissed Jamie Carragher and especially Souness while he talked that in Benfica he heard lots of things about him, that was superb. He seems so full of energy. I think he's ready to shake this side. And I am laughing my ass off when someone suggest that he's bored and tired of football and needs rest. Also the way he talks about the future, today and also after the match against PSG. He is clearly pissed off of some players without character. For me its obvious that he will change this team in the summer.Let's go for this league though. Certainly not City and Pellegrini.True point which is why it would make it worse that instead of improving next season we regress. So we shall see if we are having the same issue that we have had many times this season. Either we can't kill the game or hold out. We used to be good at parking the bus and now we can't even do that well. Smh

Popular Post! CHOULO19 24,332 Posted March 13, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted March 13, 2015 Like I said pellegrini did the same exact thing Mourinho is about to do this season while playing good fútbol. So there's nothing of greatness so far.Now this season city have not improve and pellegrini is talked about being sack.It will be the same for mourinho if next season instead of improving we have regress, it will be the same. With the exception that Pellegrino had a group of players in their peak. City spent money on finished products while we were trying to build a team for the next ten years. And the result is that City, in the next couple of season, will need to rebuild most of their team as all of their key players are going past their peak, while our key players are only going to improve over the next few seasons.Of course if we fail to win the EPL this season or if we fail to win anything next season, then sure, Jose's job should be reconsidered. But the work that he and the board have done puts us in a position where that is likely not be the case. And surely you can see the progression that the team has made? Even from last season when we lost 6 matches in the EPL alone. This time we've only lost 3 matches all season in all competitions, none in Europe! We're on our way to finish with 88-89 points total if we continue on same points ration, and I actually expect it to be a couple more. I was reading through here for the past couple of days about the supposedly awful disgusting football we play, and I couldn't help but laugh through some posts. I mean, do those fans not remember the Lampard-Ramires pivot?! Have we really forgotten a time when Victor Moses was one of our best performers in Europe? That was less than two years ago!The team and some of our key players have been off form recently, but for much of the season we were by far the best performers in the country and some said in Europe. The general consensus till November in the British media, let alone Chelsea fans, was that we're doing an 'invincible season' and will go for the quadruple. Now, of course that was a gross exaggeration, but more so have been the reactions towards the European elimination this week. Now, there is some very valid criticism to the team and Jose, even if I don't agree with all of it, but there are definitely valid questions to be asked. But they have almost been overshadowed (maybe understandably so because of the emotions) by some truly ludicrous and over-dramatic claims that have nothing to do with actual reality.Facts:-Jose is one of the best managers in the world who has brought the team long strides forward since returning.-The team has played some excellent football for large parts of the season and deservedly won the league cup and leads the league.-The team has also played some frustrating and ineffective football in certain matches.-Jose and the team have made mistakes that have sometimes cause bad performances like against PSG. I have this feeling too that he's going to dump anyone who doesn't fit his style. No look at Liverpool, all their attackers shoot from outside the box, but we've become worse than arsenal at looking for the perfect goal instead of laying the ball off for a long shot. We have no risk takers, especially since fabregas stopped attempting through passes, and no one can shoot from distance, even hazard dribbles too safe, stops, doesn't want to take the shot. Mourinho hasn't had this profile of players who are weak physically and weak aerial before and he's trying to adjust his tactics but it isn't perfect so far especially defensively. We need an essien in midfield who can carry the ball into the box when the pretty passes aren't working. We have no proper shooters in our team, even arsenal have more players that can score from outside the box than us. iseah100, stroey and darrus

Thendo 1,088
Would we have beaten Shaktar 7-0? We can't beat any team 7-0.5-0 away to both Schalke and Swansea isnt good enough? I guess we are terrible for not scoring 2 more (btw Bayern were at home and played 11 vs 10 most of the game). pHaRaOn

Adnane 1,101
Khedira ? Completely useless. One of the most overrated players I have seen ever, his only impact was against Brazil in the WC semis, and we can't judge on that one based on the opposition's display. He's completely useless, maybe a bit strong, but that's it, 90% of his passes are to the back or to the closest player, can't defend, horrendous technique, and complete absence of decent positioning. I'd rather play with 10 than with him on the team, I hope to be mistaken if we ever happen to buy him, but that's the impression I have from the games i watched so far, and I do watch Madrid a lot. couris and killer1257
