Hybrid Angel 2,130
People are scared of selling a big name who is supposedly a big player for us. Lets not forget that at the end of the day Cesc was a stopgap signing. He has done his job and he has done it well. Now he simply doesn't fit Conte's system and imo isn't good enough anymore to have the entire midfield built around him. He's 29 years old. We shouldn't be scared to cash in on him while we can. However, he should only be sold if we have a proper replacement ready. Who else but Ruben Neves? In my opinion that boy is the next Luka Modric and will easily slot in to our starting XI. I mentioned his age because once a player hits his thirties their price will just continue going down and down. I have no problem selling Cesc as long as we have a young worthy replacement available. There is nothing there to suggest that we can't afford or attract Ruben Neves. robsblubot

Beigl 1,387
Despite his deficits he still offers so much more to this team than Matic and Oscar. We need him for his creativity and through balls, he makes Costa a better player. He should start the next few games. kellzfresh, Unionjack and killer1257
Gilvorak 3,734
Second best player at the club. Him being left out of the team for two players who can barely control a ball is a disgrace. communicate 2,703
We are a completely different team with fabregas in our team. With kante and Matic we don't need oscar
yuvala 2,167
What's the fucking point in starting Matic-Oscar ? Cesc offers so much more than these two combined.. xPetrCechx and Unionjack

AlesJuve 264
Conte is not stupid If Fabregas is not playing from the start means that it is not ready physically to play 90 minutes Play with Fabregas(as Pirlo 2.0) involves building the midfield around him with Kante and Matic to do all the dirty work. Jase 43,479
THAT pass to set up Costa is exactly why Conte should be playing against teams like Watford! If he doesn't start against Burnley at HOME next week...
J.F. 1,484
Conte need to use him in the same way he used Pirlo. For that we need another midfielder, someone like Matuidi. Surrounding Fabregas with players like Kante and Matuidi could become lethal. Sideshow Luiz and King11Didier
bluesman2610 1,417
He just sees the game so much faster than anyone on our team when we are on the attack kellzfresh
kellzfresh 7,229
He has weakness defending but because of the number of people in attack that can't pass or control a ball, we have to shoehorn him into the side and hope no one takes advantage of his deficiencies. Especially against smaller teams. Beigl and Blue-in-me-Veins
