He has to. There's no alternative.

Nah,Mou hates rotation.Somehow,Mou managed to play a first team line up in the last CL group match, even though some youth players could have gotten into the starting line up.Mou still played the first team,so I do not have any hopes that Mou will start to rotate more and especially giving our youth team players a chance.Kenedy and Zouma are not former youth team players.

Apart from that,we only have 2 youth players in our youth team, who are ready to play and who went not on loan this summer. These two players are Musonda and RLC.Maybe, you could also include Aina, but Iva is most likely be the BU for Azpi,so there would be no room for Aina.

But I still hope to see them in action.Pleaasssee Jose.I watch youth games since I started being a fan of Chelsea FC.It makes me feel so sad to see those great talents not getting chances. It just hurts.

It was bad. Credit for the intentions, Koke, Pogba and Varane, Marquinhos, Laporte, Stones plus Griezmann, you have to think that they are fairly confident of signing some of them in the next opportunities since we didn't settle for cheaper alternatives. But we had 3 holes in the squad to fill and we only filled one (RW). And even then it only happened because it was fairly easy to sign Pedro since he wanted to move and Barca was open to selling at fixed price.

Not signing CM and CB was bad. There was Allan and Miranda, both available for modest 15m€ each which would improve the side and wouldn't block potential star players coming next summer. Can't get my head around how we allowed to go with the season and rely on either Ramires, Mikel or Zouma as a midfield options in big games. It's depressing and filling that "3rd midfielder" spot was of high necessity. Though if we will see more of RLC in competitive, important games I won't say no to that but most probably it means more of the 3 amigos mentioned earlier.

Huge mistake with whole Stones situation. Why the club didn't bid earlier ? I checked and offer was submitted on 17th July according to Sky Sources. It was too late. Everton was already on summer tour and already preparing the squad for upcoming season. When so many people 'moan' about lack of activity in June as you can see it's not necessarily because of impatience but because transfers like Stones have higher chance of happening. If the club would submit their offer in June, Everton would have more time to find a replacement and importantly they would start the season preparations knowing that they may loose Stones. I don't have a clue why Chelsea were so late in their moves in this window. It was a mistake.

Hector & Djilobodji signings were the result of a leaked Everton scout report, they were their targets. The bitter aftermath of the Stones transfer saga led to us simply deciding to fuck with Everton.

Djilobodji was a longtime target.

Im thinking a lot about this transfer window, my conclusion on it is that the board, the club, does have a view, they look into the future and they're trying to stay on a very specific road. Its the academy and also the transfers. The question is if Mourinho is in the same mind as the board, and if he's the right manager to lead us in this road.

The primary targets we had this summer - Stones, Pogba, Baba - shows that the club want to be based on the young players who will become top players. Rob Beasley (who is an annoying bastard but he was right about everything he said this summer),

said it like one-two months ago - the club wants more of the Hazard, Oscar and Courtois signings. And i think the club is very specific about those type of targets, which makes the market so limited for us. The club doesnt want to spend too much on stop-gap signings, and until now it happend only when we were in some kind of pressure - (1) we wanted to win the title, didnt find a young player for an important role and had a special opportunity (Fabregas. And i think the main target for this position was Koke), (2) we were in a situation that we dont have any depth in the middle of a season (Cuadrado), and (3) when we started the season badly and Mourinho was no longer happy (Pedro, Djilobodji who was supposed to be Abdennour. Although he didnt chose to bring a stop-gap CM).

Mourinho said this summer "When i came back to Chelsea, Abramovich told me you have to compete for trophis, he didnt say i have to win them". The fact he chose to say that means something about the club imo. I think the club is not as obsessed to win trophies as we may think, its just that we have a manager who is obsessed to win at all cost. This quote above is not the only one, Jose talked a lot this summer about the board and 'what we want to do as a club', and from those quotes you can easily understand its not a usual approach for him to work under, and its not easy for him. But, he says he's happy with this approach. Now we'll see, according to the way he picks his line-ups, according to the way of playing, if he really can and should lead this project. For example, there is no excuses for not giving RLC a lot of playing time (if he's really that talented, i dont know) when he competes with Mikel and Ramires, and there is no excuses to keep Ivanovic on the field when we have Baba.

Although I am disappointed with the window I am happy we did not make the same mistake of overpaying for Willian and Cuadrado types like we did in the

past. Stop gaps should be cheap. Hopefully we can next summer spend the money we saved right now on better players.

they miscalculated how bitter and twisted a low level Spanish midfielder turned small club manager could be.

I would say this transfer window has been a success if that deal went through. Pedro,Begovic and hopefully Baba was a good pick up. there`s atleast one player coming before the window shuts I think.

I would have kept Kalas around and maybe one or two others but I put that on Jose.

perhaps a 6 or 7 out of 10 so far. not great but could have been worse.

It could be that we had some kind of assurances from Everton regarding Stones and that they've fucked us over in the last moment.
