Tbh half the players who went to PSG went for the cash, not because they wanted to play for them. Put Lavezzi back in Napoli hed be a different player. Same with Cavani if he came to prem, or la liga etc

That may be true but it's not exactly a valid excuse, is it? What does it say about the player if he can't perform at a club with ambition to be one of the best but can only do so at a 2nd/3rd tier club?

Not to mention, Lavezzi is 30 years old this year (supposedly to be at his peak) and yet has hardly been consistent since his Napoli days. If we are going to buy a new RW, would rather wait till the summer than waste money on him.

Hardly better than Willian. He's a work horse with no end product. It would not solve our RW issues whatsoever.

his product is poor but he is a much more direct player than willian. willian's driblling is like mikel's passing - sideways.we can literally count the no. of times that willian's dribbling has created an oppurtunity. lavezzi is a very good dribbler along with a brilliant work rate. a marginal but an upgrade over willian. also, if the rumored fee of 10mil is true and if schurrle's rumored fee anf transer has an ounce of truth to it, we should not even think twice.

PS - still waiting for your "big news". i think the whole forum is!!!

His decision making is terrible, but he's a damn good dribbler. Sanchez level dribbling imo, and would create havoc in defenses

Absolutely. Imagine him playing in a side that operates on the counter-attack, relying on their wingers' high work rate and defensive cover?

Oh I'm talking about us now, woops.

What's the point of being good at dribbling if your decision making (and even the final ball) is terrible?

I guess you can only go the ultra selfish way of just making dribbles and eventually shoot. Or maybe this won't work because it's also considered a decision that has to be made :P
