Are you sure? I have only seen a few matches of him but he is not that impressive.. He is dangerous and energic, but we have Hazard, Schürrle, Salah and Willian. They are young players with great potentials. Lavezzi is 29, he won't get any better.

I remember that Michael Cox aka Zonal Marking described (somewhere along the lines) Lavezzi as not a great player and not one that is incredibly consistent but when he's given a specific job or strict tactical instruction, he will do so to the letter and put in brilliant performances.

Chelsea have some sort of option to buy Benfica's stake in him for something ridiculous like 7 million, iirc. The other half is third party ownership.
