Man City v Chelsea

"On Monday night Manchester City will smash Chelsea. Once we have scored one we will put 5 past them; that's what we've done to every side bar 2 (Hull and Palace to their credit). And we will score one. That first goal acts like the catalyst for wave after wave of City attacks. There is not a team in this country who can live with us when we are like that and on Monday I am very confident we will be like that. I also happen to believe that - so long as the players believe they can - we will do Barca at home much the same.

I am coming to the view that all the chatter about it being a tight league this year will prove wholly unfounded. If I am wrong on that I am wrong, it's no big deal, nobody will have died. But I think we are starting now to gather a momentum which will leave everybody else trailing in out wake before too much longer has passed.... We has reached that lovely and rare tipping point where teams are beaten before they turn up, and while this was true at home from early on, it's now starting to be true away also. Once that starts to be the case, there will be no stopping us. That's not arrogance btw, it's a fact, and all we have to do is sit back, ignore the bleating of the fans of other clubs (you spent all that money blah blah... and their managers (and is it just me that really hates all the 'special one' shit??) and enjoy the ride.

5-0 City."

that is what i mentioned earlier in this thread, I have never seen a set a fans not just being so confident of beating us but so confident of smashing us 4 or 5 nil! Its a joke! even the Bayern fans were not that arrogant going into the Super Cup Final! The Citeh fans really need to be bought back down to earth! hopefully we will do that for them on Monday!

The city fans that think they can beat us 4-0/5-0/6-0 or any high score clearly haven't watched us play this season. They probably started watching football like last month or from this season. I swear that's the typical fanbase of City. Glory Hunters..

They also thought they were going to smash us at the bridge, that's nothing new really.

I'm not confident of beating them or even taking a draw, but I know for sure they can't win by anything more than a 1 nil lead.. with or without Aguero.

always thought milner/barry combo along with yaya toure was the main reason of our undoing last season(physically overpowered us to easily!!).....

look at the match at stamford bridge this season....other than for an aguero brilliance(glad hes not playing!!) they didnt have much answer to our play(more of a stalemate imo)...

very evident from pellegrinis expression....and hes seems like a sour loser to me!!

And for the joke of hitting past 5/6 goals against us they need to have their FBs very high up....good luck with containing hazard and willian...

I truly hope mancity tactics are as stupid and arrogant as their newfound fan base :)

Love it. Just love we are going on the pitch as underdogs, it just makes the victory much sweeter. Bring it on Citeh.

The war of words already started as I read.

Jose vs the Beatle boy of Citeh is on.

The game may be much more than just an ordinary game of football on Monday´s night. There are those who think Chelsea is getting creamed here. Then there are folks who think Chelsea just might knick it.

What am I gonna say here ? Should I give up & accept a defeat ? No way, Jose!

No matter what happens on Monday, I believe, Chelsea is not getting hammered by 5-6 goals just like the others.

Am I confident of Chelsea´s win ? No, I would be kidding myself.

I just hope, for a good display by Chelsea & looking for a draw here.

Monday will benefit us, no matter what the result is. If we go there and snatch a win great, but if we go there a lose 3-1 Mourinho will take note of our weaknesses. The current Citeh team, even though missing Aguero, are the best in the league and the biggest test for us currently and therefore will give us the best idea of what needs improving/upgrading. Citeh have a year left of glory, from next season it's Mou's!

Have a feeling we could hit them with a quickfire double and win 2-0. They don't scare me at all.

Its fine thumping teams in January and Feburary, but I fancy them to crumble when the pressure is on. They don't have the knowhow. That league that they did win, the fucking stumbled across the line big time.

I hope Matic will deal with Yaya, it will show how good he is. Thank god there is no Aguero, but Negredo and Dzeko will still be very dangerous. However, they arent as fast as Kun and Terry-Cahill/Luiz will cope easier.

Just be clinical on other side, or we will lose. Cant see us keeping clean sheet, but win is not impossible. Up Blues!

Why are people stressing about the title. Our aim has always been top 3. If something happen to City and they seriously fuck up, then we or Arsenal can capitalize. But this is City's title to lose regardless of the outcome of this match.

top 3? No our aim was the title. We were even favored coming into the season.
