Everton v Chelsea

And even Ballack only was a very poor man's Lampard his entire career. So nothing to worry about.

Anyway, we could use s.o. like Ballack these days.

With Eto'o possibly out, I am quite sure Mou would start Torres vs Everton. If so we only can hope he has one of his good days on which he actually is a useful striker like he was against Munich.

This is a Mourinho team though, so they will probably not be a lot of space to exploit lol.

It should be a good game though, i'm looking forward to who Jose puts up against Baines. I would like Willian, because this would restrict Baines from bombing up the field every time, or risk being left for dead.

Suspect Mourinho might use Schurrle on the RW again after the way he performed against Bayern in the last game. Has the pace and will help to track back and defend against Baines while also capable of sprinting past him on the counter.

Schurrle deserves to start. Hopefully we will see Mata in the middle.

Ballack was no way inferior to Lamps ...he just changed his role to suit the team..

Both, Ballack and Lampard are attacking midfielders, but cos Lamps was a good deal better than Micha, he was the one to sacrifice his offensive abilites for Lamps. Lamps goalscoring record and individual accolades cabinet outweighs Ballacks by far btw. So, yes, inferior.

We need more width and Mata's incisive passing. When are we going to let are wingers get at the opposition full backs and cut them apart.

we just played 2 matches against the champions of europe and the champions of england, with solely the tactic of letting our wingers run at the defenders and try and cut them apart.

etoo, hazard and oscar out???

what are the durations of their injuries???

Don't think any of them is confirmed to be out for this game at this point. And for Oscar, he apparently said he's fit to start for Brazil against Portugal tomorrow.

What planet do you live on that Ballack was inferior to any midfield player of the last 10 years bar maybe Zidane ? A prime Micheal Ballack was the ultimate midfield engine the type that took a poor German side to the 2002 world cup final !
