Pizy 18,953
If we'd have beaten that god awful QPR, held on to that 2-0 lead against Reading, and not choked away the lead last week we'd be in 2nd and out of sight of Arse, Spuds, and Everton. Those results will likely haunt us later on. I'd bite your hand off if you offered me 4th right now, even if it meant that fucking AVB and the one man team Spurs finished a spot above us. English Freak 456
I think we'll get 4th this season...provided that we don't stuff up against the mid table clubs like Southampton, Liverpool, West Ham..

Beirut_Blues 306
Better not to jump the gun. Lets see how we fare and get against City next first.I prefer to jump the gun positively rather than negatively (as this thread is soo negative). But yea I get ya, I'll be back here after we beat City
Laylabelle 9,536
As long as we beat City and everyone else after it lol...with our record of late a bit eeeeek. One game at a time
ZanSnake 1,211
I say we can get third if we play to our strengths, and not take any team for advantage like Swansea in the cup or Brentford.
CHOULO19 24,332
We'll finish in the top 4 but not because we are playing well but because the rest of the league is piss poor. This average utd side cruising at the top is proof to that.
Laylabelle 9,536
Exactly everyone is piss poor at the minute just a case of who plays worse
Mustafa 885
Tbh i dont even know anymore ... We have lots of tough games to come... Man City (A), Man Utd (A), Liverpool (A), Spurs (H), Everton (H) And with our current form, we're probably not gonna pick up a lot of points from those games. For example look at Arsenal, they've played almost all of the big teams, home and away... the only tough games they have left are United (H) and Spurs (A)... besides those 2 games they should do pretty well in the rest of their games.Sooo... if we do finish in the top 4 we are gonna have to step up our game fast ! Laylabelle 9,536
And we have sodding Swansea to come again!!!Ahhhhhh!!!!In fact with the fixtures we have to come...we have 12 to go...and only 4 out of those 12 teams we have beaten league wise this season...eek! different level 1,056
Just had a quick look at our fixtures. After City we play West Brom (H), Fulham (A), West Ham (H), Southampton (A) and Sunderland (H). So we need a strong March, winning most, if not all of those matches, because after that are the tougher games against Spurs, Loserpool and Manure. The Skipper 20,609
We'll get top 4 because teams around us are similarly messing up luckily for us.
Hutcho 8,443
We will probably beat city then go and lose vs southampton and west ham...

teignman 441
To answer the original question posed in the title, no I don't think we are going to finish in the top 4. We will finish an ignominious 5th, mainly due to our profligacy and not the quality of our competitors. Which is terrible considering the talent that this squad has. Styles 9,790
We have to win today. Arsenal have nothing else to play for this season and are only 2 points behind. Oh and they have a much easier set of fixtures than both ourselves and Tottenham.
BlueLion. 21,491
^ they're also shit. In March, they have to play Swansea and Tottenham away. and also host Everton at the Emirates. I can see them winning one of those, maximum. They then have got to go to Newcastle, Fulham and West Brom, and also play United at the Emirates. Again, a tricky run of fixtures for them.Yes we have an incredibly hard run-in, but the worst likely result is for Spurs to finish above of us and us in 4th. A van Persie-less Arsenal just don't have enough about them IMO.
