But you could say the same for Mata, he made some cracking passes and was a major passing threat outside the box. I don't mean to cause shit but Hazard is insanely overrated on this forum sometimes.

He's also criminally underrated at times too. He's a young player in his first season in a new league learning a whole new game. Today he played well, but he also gave the ball up a couple of times. He gave Wilkinson a torrid time in the first half, set up Azpi beautifully for his cross for the first and killed the game with the third.

Personally I thought Luiz was the most important player on the pitch today but I have no problem with Hazard getting some votes.

Lamps MOTM for me.

Superb passing throughout the game, went forward well and connected with the attackers and unlucky not to have had a hat-trick if it wasn't for Begovic's excellent saves. Showed why we should keep him on, i hope Roman was watching: a prime example of what Frank still has in the tank!

I thought it was obvious that hazard is mom.

He is the most dangerous man on the pitch. stoke LB has no clue how to stop him.

I have no idea of how people complain that he lose the ball. He is an am, it's his job to take on player.

Lampard had a good game, moving the ball well and passing the ball well. Quite shocked how much space and time stoke gives our midfielder

I have no problem with him losing the ball trying to beat a player

What I'm talking about is not being able to receive a pass, mis control under pressure and lose possession - that happened a lot!!!

Like I said he will learn, not every week you play rugby instead of football :)

If you're going to count good runs and getting involved then look at the types of Marin who gets no credit for stuff like that. But instead gets labeled as a useless player and should be sold.

Some people are blind for his flaws, that's true. Think most are just excited of having him in our ranks. He still is one of few young potential world beaters out there. I think he's doing just fine.

Hazard MOTM. What a strike, constant threat for their players.

Luiz, Lampard and even Cole and Azpilicuate had a good game aswell.

I do think Lampard should get a 1-2 year deal but not for the salary he is on. 160,000£ a week for a 34-year old, 35 in summer, is a waste. In that sense that deal would make no financial sense. Then again, we don't know his real salary nor what has been on the table already and so on. I trust the board, at some point we've got to let him go. Just the way it has been done so far hasn't been pretty but Lampard's advisors, agents are making sure it doesn't subside and bring it up once in a while.

Back to being inconsistent - we broke the home runs of Everton and Stoke who we beat 4-0, we lost at home to QPR and Swans, oh dear.

Anyway, I only saw the last minutes so I am really happy with the result, with Cech being back, with our captain back and Lampard scoring yet again. Can't wait for some extended highlights!

Not really extended, but decent highlights nonetheless.

Nice to be able to actually have highlights rather then the minutes before kick off being the highlight and all going to crap afters

That's not my point, yes he did do some damage upfront, but he almost cost us more than enough times and people need to consider that. If he doesn't learn it's going to comeback and punish us and the members on here will soon know about that then. I'm just concerned because this isn't the first time he's lost the ball and the other team have scored, yes it happens to everyone but he's way to careless.

Although I'm happy with what he did today to some extent, as he provided flair!, something he has been lacking. And i understand to have such things as flair and creativity and to make use of it, it's always going to be a factor of losing the ball in the process now and then. However Hazard was just way too sloppy like too needless even when coming back trying to make twists and turns instead of the simple pass and losing it. At the end of the day this is Stoke, a physical side and known to punish other teams, it's not a wise thing to do. And to be honest i know this sounds very harsh on the players but in the first half it honeslty could have went any way, but fortunately it went ours.

This season reminds me of a Ranieri season :)

Beat anybody on our day and then lose silly games - this was what Mourinho fixed when he came in...

Next season!!! ;)

How we could've easily won the Champions League that season, but then again if we did we might not of had Mourinho, so maybe it did benefit us.
