Yes he would have been better served to not say anything but the press have once again twisted this to try and rock the boat at Chelsea.

He actually commented that he had come across players in his whole career who only cared for themselves and not the team. When he was struggling last season he felt like he was turning into that mindset and knew once that happened something needed to change and he needed to 'snap out of it'. The press have taken this that he was talking about the Chelsea squad playing for themselves and not the team which isn't true.

It's brutally honest and wrong. The statement has no tactfulness in it. In my eyes he lost the little respect I had for him, I do support him as a Chelsea player but as a person I dislike him. On the pitch he seems like a weepy kid, that's most of the time whereas sometimes he can offer something to the team. I'm convinced he is the, or atleast, on of the weak-links in our team"chain". Statements like this and pervious ones like "At one point I thought it was a mistake to leave Liverpool" just don't add up and are unprofessional. If you don't want to be here - good bye because hundreds of top footballers would do anything to have their shot.

Its best he shuts up his mouth atm bcoz I think our next 10 games will determine if he has a long term future at chelsea. I just have this feeling its the last make or brake time 4 him.

Once again good outside the box, but he is the poorest striker I've seen play for us in ages inside the box. His movement inside the box or better said lack of movement inside the box is extremely disappointing he stands in one spot expecting the ball to hit him in the foot or something. He won't get easy goals like Sturridge's if he is not moving and trying to beat players inside the box and he is awful when he needs to think about how to strike a ball at the goal.

Still boggles my mind how we decided that he should be automatic first choice at CFC.

Yeah, 1st: counter in front of Friedel, should have at least shooted (had to score) and 2nd: made the right movement and just got unlucky.

Completely agree. He's always laboring a bit when about to get a shot off... and that's all defenders need to stop it.

Useless in the 1st half, and awful in the 2nd.

During the match here were times when I was really angry with this guy. Right now he is not the disaster he was in the beginning of his Chelsea career, but he is an avarage CF, the kind that score some good goals and some matches, but then miss incredible chances or make a lot of silly mistakes in others. Just like Gudjonsen when he used to play as a CF here.

It's not so much that it's the fact if Danny said it or Kalou said it during his Chelsea career they would get in from all angle's, but Torres says it there's no fuss.

The double standards involving Torres get more annoying by the day.

Could've done much better...I wonder, has he got tired a bit? Rusty? He played in the Euros, friendlies and regularly for us. He ain't so young anymore...I'm hoping to see Danny lead the line against Shaktjor.
