  1. 1. Who Is Your Man of the Match?

I'm glad I missed the game.

Anything promising during the 90 minutes? Azpi, Moses...anything?

Mata was brilliant.

Sturridge's movement was great, his passing and link-up play was good (but his finishing was very poor).

Cech almost scored a scissor kick haha.

Torres did what no man has ever done in the history of mankind. He disappeared into thin air, quite an achievement (but sadly I'll think he's back already).

That's it.

Some coments are so stupid that I am expecting something like this: "Cech should have scored when he had that chance, useless. Buy another GK!"

It's ridiculous. I think people expect strikers to score on every decent chance they get. Even the best strikers in the world don't come close to that. Everybody misses chances. Sturridge was great today. He wasn't particularly wasteful either. He forced a couple of very good saves and he really only should have done better on the last chance of the game, but that happens. We had a lot of shots today, but they were almost all poor quality opportunities. The team is heavily imbalanced and lacks any depth. We all want rotation, but we don't have good enough players to rotate. You can't blame RDM for this. What was he supposed to do? Play Mata every single game? The Manchester clubs can have a plan B because they have the players for it. We don't.

Yeah frustrated Marin had NO game time!!!

RDM needs to sort that shit out - in Pre-Season MARIN was fucking AWESOME! Yes he had injury, but he's played RESERVE games, give him a fucking chance - he's the kind of player that can nick a goal during a game...

We have good players - but don't rotate them enough, then when they are needed they are out of form... For me that's a big tactical failing....

I know I said PEP earlier, but DO WANT RDM to succeed - he just needs to DO MORE during a game and in Squad Management...

The only thing that seems to shock the team back to life usually is a new manager...then they play well..go through crap and bam new manager..play well...play crap and bam bam bam bam

Yup we need to stop that - as much as I dislike him SAF can get UTD sorted - WE need a Manager to do that.

It's there for RDM to step-up and do it - just hope he can....

In the whole season, our attacking seems to be so random. It's like we have no plan, just hoping the 3 people behind the striker pulls out something. I haven't really seen any kind of passing/movement/whatever of which I can say: "Wow, they must have practised this at training."

I've calmed down.

Torres is shit, doesn't make runs. He must be fuckin RDM in the ass if he starts juventus game.

2nd worst player, luiz.

The first goal instead of man marking his man, he let's him go and still misses the flight of the ball. Clearly our worst defender.

Hazard scored but was average.

Oscar was adapting to the pivot.

Moses was good.

Azpi was our best player along with mata.

Sturridge runs >> torres

Sturridge determination>> torres

Sturridge pace >> torres

Sturridge presence>> torres

Sturridge confidence>> torres

Needs to start more games to rediscover his bolton finishing form.

We are slipping away from the premier league challenge.

LOL at the people who were saying if Sturridge had as much chances as Torres he would score more. He had 4+ good chances and couldn't do anything. The guy is shite. Having said I'd prefer him over Torres who is just a fucking joke of a footballer.

I don't think anyone meant he is more clinical than Torres - just more likely to create goal scoring chances with him in the line up

Only seen the last 2 mins, so can not really comment over the game. I can say that Mata should have passed alongside him in that last chance, Hazard was in excellent position to shoot..

Now all our bonus is gone, luckely we stay third, but were giving ourselfs a hard time to finish top 3 like this.

We lost so as per usual loads of hate talk on TC is expected, proceed proceed....

Not really hate talk from me... RDM in general made the right decsion to rest players, and made the correct decision to take off torres and romeu, with half an hour left. I would have taken david off at half time but other than that this one really isnt on him... Its just the same old problem:

We create the chances, we don't convert them.

If he wants to be our senior striker he has to bang that chance at the end, but it was not like he lost the ball or something, overall he was great and most importantly, better than Torres.

RDM did a fine job, he tried to rotate and he changed quickly and they were excellent changes (although Oscar wasnt good today). We are in transition so I am not very worried with EPL (of course I want to win, but we all know we are the 3rd power in England right now). We need a CB, CM, ST and a better attacking variation and a defensive system. At least we are not Liverpool, Arsenal or Spurs, who need 5-6 players to begin dreaming of a top squad.

Maybe something similar to this for a next year champion...

GK: Cech, Turnbull, Courtois

RB: Iva, Azi

CB: JT, ?, Cahill, Chabollah

LB: Cole, Bertrand

DM: Luiz, Mikel, Romeu

CM: ?, Ramires, Oscar, KDB

CAM: Mata, Marin, KDB, Oscar

RW/LW: Moses, Sturridge, Hazard, Marin

CF/ST: ?, Sturridge, Lukaku, Piazon
