Unfortunately your at Twattenham and 100 times out of a 100 players will pick us over them. I hope AVB takes charge and we destory spurs 5-1 again. At most I can see him giving AVB or whoever the manager is around 40m. IF AVB were to spend that on Hulk alone, then he wouldn't be able to strengthen other areas of the squad. Don't they pay their highest earner something like £70k per week? They need to nearly double that for Hulk.
termninja 5,290
Hulk to Spurs? Chill down lads, ain't happening. They can't afford his wages and I doubt transfer fee also because they'll need to replace Modric. Even if they could all that, I doubt Hulk would leave Portugal champions for a team that isn't even in the CL when for example he can come here, join our 2 awesome brazilians and play CL. I know he has a very strong physique but he is also under 180cm of height. He isn't that good in the air to be honest, i've been pretty much scouting him watching games of him last season and he isn't too impresive holding the ball up. His strength is still a good thing because no one can push him off the ball.
Peace. 4,352
We should stick with Ramires on the Right Wing and go for a deep lying playmaker, than buy this Hulk for £38m. Our brazilian did appear to be a more than good right winger. Furthermore, as long as he doesn't improve his technical ability (especially his first touch), we shouldn't re-install him in the midfield. To my eyes, it is well worth it to make him our permanent winger (unless Di Matteo planned to play Hazard, Marin, or whoever there). It could work just as well it could not work : this is a gamble - a gamble which won't cost us any penny a which will free us money to spend on another areas (in midfield, to buy someone who knows two or three things when it comes to build the game, for example).P.S. We should stop dealing with Porto. Each and every time they rip us a new one.

Hutcho 8,443
Modric looks to not be happenning because of levy, so the chances are, our pursuit of hulk will go up a notch, unless we decide to go for someone like mountionho instead. Having said that it wouldn't be unusual if roman decidied to just splash out on buying both.

We need that power house up front after losing Drogba.

Would hate for him to waste away on our bench.
