That was first thing this morning when the sanctions were announced.

Have the players really voiced their concerns amid dressing room 'chaos' within about 15 minutes?!

Depends. Reports they were informed on the coach to Norwich.

I think the bits which have been drip-fed since would suggest things aren't quite as grim as that because a sale is still going to be possible. It just needs sorting asap for the sake of everyone associated with the club.

Can imagine there is panic. Especially now that shirt sponsor backed out

American billionaire Todd Boehly, together with Hansjorg Wyss and another businessman, have made an official bid for Chelsea between £2billion and £2.5bn, which remains on the table and is being treated as a serious, realistic proposal.

The other two parties who are being treated as the most serious bidders are the Ricketts family, who own the Chicago Cubs baseball team, and the owner of the New York Jets, Woody Johnson.

Hope it's Boehly or some unknown rich guy others don't inspire any hope.

It'll be the Wyss and Boehly consortium I reckon They've established themselves as serious buyers from the get go, so a relationship has already been built with their intentions known. They have everything in place already for the bid and eventual club tender.

Just hope it gets done ASAP.

United fans, Liverpool fans, and Arse fans constantly complain about their American owners. But Woody Johnson would be even worse. At least those owners have shown that they can build successful clubs, though perhaps not exactly in the way or as quickly as their supporters want.

Johnson is the owner of one of the worst run, most incompetent franchises in all of American sports.

United and Arsenal fans blame the recruitment more than anything. Arsenal have spent 200 million last season and United continue to be the most expensive squad in the league.

Only Liverpool have the right to complain about ownership spending, but even then, Liverpool players have insane wage/bonus incentives in their contracts so who knows how much they are paying them.

We've had worse

There were oil drums around the Bridge in the 70’s with Cash For Chelsea, good old day’s when we were proper skint 🤪

Our best attacking move was Hutchinson's throw ins - God bless his soul.
