Yeah I get what u both are saying, considering is a hell of a difference than allowing.

The question is how deprave the government would be to delay any potential sale allowing the club to rot further.

Lose more sponsors, get a points deduction., and more.

Basically put it on a tough path to recover even after an eventual sale.

Which is why I keep asking whether Roman will launch legal action to at least allow the club to function semi-normally (albeit without sponsors) and also allow a sale in the short term.

It's now just said we can't sell match tickets?

Nope can't sell anything. Shop is closed too. Season ticket holders are okay and tickets already brought but other then that...nada.

But then they'd still have to pay ground staff, stewards whatever else to be there to do that. Assume there is money to pay those staff if not...jib losses and all

So assume no away fans at our games..Boro is off sale but assume that money would go to them anyway? So maybe that will change who knows.

So we could get to a stage where we can't pay players staff etc.

Ermmmm...I guess. No money coming in and all gotta stop eventually

There's a licence in place to allow them to pay them all but that's if they can.

LOL so sponsors are partying way to support Ukraine and don't want to be associated with Russian oligarch, and they make the decision when Chelsea and Roman relationship is basically over.

Yup just virtue signalling.

Whilst Newcastle owners are bombing.

Whilst Chinese money is killing Muslims.

They don't matter though right...

Exactly that. At Sunday’s game every fan should hold up a picture of Yemen civilians being bombed by Saudi Arabia. Let’s get the big banners out.  Let’s see what the Saudi owners of Newcastle think about that. Get it on the BBC so Lineker can see it, wipe that woke grin off his face, get it on Sky!

Same with City and their UAE owners heavily involved in the Yemen conflict.

One reason no one has touched on for why today's events may actually work out as a blessing for prospective owners too is I think in a normal situation there would have been objection from the Chelsea support. You only have to see Roman's name still being chanted tonight. Anybody buying the club would find it incredibly difficult to start on anything other than the back foot.

I think though today, us fans just want to make sure we still have a club to support at the end of this. Anyone remotely competent and relatively wealthy right now will do and there will be an air of gratitude around the club for someone still willing to get us out of the mire we're currently in. They will start with a much more receptive and supportive fanbase from the beginning I believe.
