No. I am not kiddin. Bertrand is not a teenager and now he starts games at the emirates, anfield and is showing how good he is. he is just unlucky to be in the same team as arguably the best left back in the world but that doesn't mean he's bad. He's a MUCH better option than Sturridge because the winger will have to track back to Robben and Lahm. Bertrand will provide cover and its not like he doesnt know to attack

Fair enough but Magnitude of the game doesn't count as such an important reason.bertrand is a good defender and he has shown he can handle pressure - emirates, anfield - + he has done admirably against Victor Moses, walcott etc.

sturridge vs contento on the attack will be a battle we are likely to win but ribery and robben are world class wingers and they can easily nutmeg our full backs. maybe ashley will match robben but the right side is definitely worrying
