Mceachran 109
I see that it is likely Schurrle comes to Chelsea. Part of me does not want a single new additional player, I just wish we would recall all of our loaned players and realize we have serious talent already. BlueLyon 9,359
I saw that barca has listed Neymar, Thiago Silva, Isco and Gundogan as their main targets...So I wonder how can they spend so big, but we cant? Surely we have more money and they are in debts, we are not (at least not that much). If that is true why dont we look after high profile players then? If Silva is available why not try to sign him? Get him spend little more, but we will sure have top player in defense guaranteed. Its what we lack, top players in their prime. If we want to develop players, then we should pick them from our academy.Seriously better to buy one top player than five cheaper and hope that one will properly evolve...Mou, Thiago Silva, Rooney, Witsel would be more effective than Papadopoulos, Schurrle, another striker and another cheaper midfielder.Yes we could buy cheaper players and develop them but recently Marin, cahill, Moses who were all cheaper player we hoped to be starters some day have proven that you dont get effective top player for cheap. And chelsea isnt exactly club that develops top players by themslves. Mata or Hazard, Marin came for big and will prove big.

BleedsBlue 1,549
Monaco should show some interest in Torres. It would be a great deal if it happens because the club will be able to set up a team for him.Instead of paying 50m for Falcao, they could get Torres for 20 to 25m and use the remaining funds to buy midfielders suited for their star striker. We'll get rid of him,he'll continue to earn high wages and Monaco will have a star striker.Everyone wins!! mediator and Bir_CFC
Leif 6,006
We'll probably end up with the same exact strikers next season as we do this season only with the addition of Schurrle I can feel it
Strike 7,527
We'll probably end up with the same exact strikers next season as we do this season only with the addition of Schurrle I can feel it I think the club will have seen how RVP was hiding United's deficiencies all season. A new striker will be signed I think. But if Falcao to Monaco is true, I'm starting to get the feeling Chelsea will miss out on the "Big 3" strikers in Europe - Falcao, Cavani, Lewandowski.Cavani to Man CIty looks strong and Lewandowski to United and Bayern looks more likely than Chelsea. If we miss all 3, what then? Sign someone like Rooney or Higuain? or Stick with Lukaku?
Special Juan 28,187
Remember, Chelsea aren't just an attraction but Mourinho is on his own, that is massive in itself. If Mourinho does come here I fully expect us to sign one of Rooney, Cavani, Lewandowski or Falcao.
