Very weird and interesting fit in a Pep team. His teams are always super structured, disciplined, and he basically spends the entire match screaming at and berating his players about their positioning and pressing. At his age CR7 ain’t gonna be out there running himself into the ground doing dirty work. Which I can see being an issue against the other top teams.

But in that attack and with the way City create chances all he’ll have to do is hover around the penalty box and he’ll probably score 30 PL goals.

I don't think there's any chance of him hitting 30 goals or thereabouts.

If this move does happen, it goes to show Pep/City threw everything into the Kane pool, only for it to backfire.

He’s not the demon he was with the ball running at defenders on the wing or anything but he’s still world class in and around the box. Combine penalties with the number of easy chances that will be set on a plate for him and I can see 25-30 goals.

Man united fans will not forgive Ronaldo for going there. I'm shocked he is going to do it. Truly a mercanry until the end.

Messi would never have gone to Madrid.

One of their greatest ever players played for City.

What actually is Ronaldo's business in joining City? He will be bashed by united fans and probably bullied physically. Plus, is it really possible for top PL teams to allow player to not participate in defense / pressing and just wait for passes up in front?

If he is unhappy about loosing the key man role in Juve and having to work for the team more, he'd get the same issue in PL, but triple size.

It's similar to NBA. Top players join super teams. Even veterans.

Messi in Barca and Ronaldo in Juve wouldn't have a chance to win biggest trophies like CL. They don't have many years left.

And it's true, those two always competed each other last 15 years and this will continue...

The fact Ronaldo basically whored himself to City because of his insecurities towards Messi is hilarious.

Exactly what it is

Wow, I certainly thought it would drag out in terms of price.

Cannot understand Mbappe’s thinking here. Doesn’t make sense for him to not play with Neymar and Messi in a PSG super team for one season, then go on a free to Madrid with even more wages.. Strange, considering he’s obsessed with the Ballondor, surely he has more chance to win it with PSG than Madrid?
